At the foot of the terrace, a 10 m² pool is waiting for you to swim!

Everything in this quiet and bright setting is a daydream!

On the large terrace fringed with roses, jasmines, lavender and overlooking the pool

A superb property with an excellent location. Maintained to the highest standard in all respects by very proud owners. If looking to stay in southern France the town of Isle sur la Sorgue is a fantastic choice and this property completes the package perfectly.

Lovely, beautifully appointed home.

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time in this house and Dominique and Alain have made wonderful additions. The location is ideal: walking distance to anything but removed adequately for privacy and a sense of quiet and retreat. The setting is really rather idyllic with ducks, birds, flowers and herbs and the river running by the patio. Cooking facilities are beyond ample but local restaurant recommendations were excellent. The Owners are wonderful hosts, giving good directions, suggestions and recommendations. We can give the highest recommendation to this home and the care the owners take of it and their guests.

Beautiful Property, perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This review is long-overdue for such a wonderful stay! We were an extended family group with our retired aunt and uncle, my husband and I and our 12 year old son. Dominique and Alain greeted us with snacks and a lovely bottle of wine. Much appreciated after the long drive from Paris! This house was perfect for us! It's a 5 min walk to the beautiful town for shopping, meals and ice cream. Likewise, a lovely bakery is just around the corner for your morning croissant. A HyperU is a 2 min drive away for all your grocery needs.

Alain had great restaurant recommendations, Le Mistral was favorite. We found ourselves eating our main meal at lunch, then wandering back to the house for a rest and afternoon cocktails each day.

As others have mentioned, the friendly ducks were a real treat. We also made use of the ping pong table and kayaks provided. A/C in each of the bedrooms was a plus at night, although it wasn't really necessary except in the upstairs room. We kept our bedroon door open to smell the flowers and hear the church bells ring.

The entire house is lovingly furnished to a high standard, bed linens and towels are of high quality and very comfortable. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well after 10 days of previous traavel! The kitchen is well-outfitted (one of the nicest we've seen anywhere and we rent houses a couple of times a year) with quality pans and knives and plenty of serving ware.

While the location is in a neighborhood, your would never know it. The lush landscaping and quiet neighboors make you feel as if you're in the country.

We highly recommend this property and hope to return again!

Pleasure in Provence

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic spot. Charming hosts, close to town, a drop dead back yard.

My family used this location to explore and immesh ourselves in the culture of Provence's Luberon.

It was like bing back in the middle ages. Waking up and walking to the nearby bakery for breakfast goodies and coffee. Visiting the various markets in towns and villages. The wine country. The Roman ruins. Did I forget to mention the restaurants?

The Sunday antiques market. If ever we return it will be to stay here again.

A dream come true

  • 5 of 5

An absolute dream property! The town is charming, just a short walk away, and also in close and convenient proximity are so many other lovely Provencal cities, villages and landscapes. It was actually hard for us to leave the house, despite the lure of such nearby beauty, plus active activities like canoeing, hiking, etc, also at your doorstep -- the home is that gorgeous and calm! We loved the opportunity to read, write, sleep, and just generally "be," in a peaceful place which is so lovingly cared for. A wonderful bakery is just steps away. If you cannot finish all the baguettes, it is even better -- the ducks appreciate them and it is so much fun to feed them off the back dock! Alain and Dominique are sweet and ideal hosts -- everything you could hope for. We'd count ourselves very fortunate to return. Warmly recommended.

The Perfect Base

  • 5 of 5

Alain and Dominique provided the perfect base for a holiday in Provence, welcoming us with complimentary biscuits and bottle of wine! The splendid house is extremely well equipped and lacks nothing to make for a delightful stay. It was particularly pleasant to be able to dine in the lovely garden and to cool off every day in the private pool.

The town is similarly delightful, with its rivers, bridges, water wheels, restaurants, ice cream parlours, etc., and it was a joy to wander around. Elsewhere, Arles, Gordes, Tarascon, and numerous other attractive locations are within easy reach, and driving around the splendid Provencal countryside is an experience in itself not to be missed.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would like to take this opportunity to say another "thank you very much" to our excellent hosts, Alain and Dominique.
