Mountain Modern Townhouse - 2Br Comfy Getaway!

Bedrooms 2
Half Baths1
Space 1,600 sq. ft.
Property type townhome
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

Cozy 2 Br Sleeps Up To 7 Close To Keystone Access To Trails, Pool, Hot Tub

You will enjoy this modern and updated townhouse that feels secluded but is perfectly situated close to keystone (1mi), a quick drive to dillon, frisco and breckenridge.

Kick back and chill out in front of the fireplace or go sit in the hot tub after a day of epic turns on the mountain. The clubhouse offers a sauna and indoor pool that is one of the nicer ones in the area.

You will enjoy waking up to fresh ground coffee and overlooking the aspens and pines from the balcony or the walk-out patio. Comfy beds are a big deal; the master has a king sized memory foam mattress. The second bedroom includes a queen sized bed and also a couch that folds out to a twin. Both bedrooms have flatscreen TV's and there is portable DVD player in the second bedroom. In the Living room, the sectional couch will sleep 2 on a queen pull out that can also be used to sleep another 2 kids on the sectionals if needed. The LR is set up for stereo surround sound and Cable includes HBO. There is a Washer and Dryer in unit.

Note that the shuttle stop is a very short walk from the condo and the shuttle ride to the base of the mountain is 7 minutes. The conference center and keystone village are a short walk where you will find ice skating (or paddle boats during the summer) as well as a few places to eat.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has been provisioned with all of the appliances and tools that you will need including a gas grill on the deck.

The property is special in that it is a 2-level with it's own separate entrance and walk-out patio so you don't have to deal with long hallways or elevators or noisy people above you who walk around their condo with their ski boots on. The HOA strongly adheres to no pets for visitors and we are sorry about that but rules are rules. Full disclosure that property owners may have pets so this is not a pet free property.

Why Jennifer Sloane chose Northwest

This property is updated and super cozy. We spent a lot of years trying out other people's VRBO's prior to buying our own to make sure we found the right place for us. It is close to town, so you can be near groceries and movies, it is also close to the ski lifts; the most amazing paved trails are out the front door for running/biking/walking. The property is perfect in that you have access to a beautiful indoor pool, hottub and sauna after a long day of hard play. Some of the properties we have seen are older, worn down and decorated with weird moose and bear knick knacks. We are more rustic modern in taste, not too fussy, just comfortable. Hope you enjoy.

What makes this townhome unique

The property has the bedrooms on the lower lever and both bedrooms have walkout sliding glass doors to open space. Perfect for summer evenings or watching the snow fall on those dreary mornings. p.s there is a local moose that we have seen on occasion.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thanks Jennifer - we arrived home safely and had a wonderful trip! The

conditions for skiing (or as my grandsons correct me, "we didn't ski, we

snowboarded!") were great! You have a nice place and we will be back! It

was very comfortable to come to at the end of the day to relax and get

ready for another day of skiing. We tried some of the restaurants you

suggested and agreed that Dos Locos was at the top of our list - it was

really good!

perfect location for exploring keystone

  • 5 of 5

My mom, friends and I stayed here in early August and loved the townhouse! With three kids in tow, we were a total of 7 and there was plenty of space for dining, playing games, watching movies etc (at bedtime two of the bigger kids slept on the couch). The kids loved the split level design, and the access to a great lawn for romping out the back. The shared pool also came in handy. It was too warm for it this trip, but i can easily imagine enjoying the gas fireplace with snow outdoors. Jennifer was perfectly responsive (not that we had any troubles), communicated quickly and was welcoming and friendly. ill definitely stay here again!

Great Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of 5 including 2 teenagers and a pre-teen. We had plenty of room to spread out. This was our first ski trip not staying ski in/ski out and we could not have asked for a better place. We use VRBO at least 3 times a year and this was by far the most well stocked condo we have ever stayed at. The owners even contacted us the morning after check in to make sure everything was as expected. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub area. All in all, you can't go wrong with this condo.

Wonderful Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful townhouse for our needs. Plenty of space for everyone. I was surprised at how well stocked the house was with extras to use. There were a bunch of condiments in the fridge. The bathrooms all had lotion. There was liquid soap in the shower, as well as shampoo and conditioner. There was everything you would need to use if you wanted to do laundry. I've stayed at a bunch of rentals and this is the first time I've seen that. Most of this stuff we brought with us anyway because I figured it would not be provided, so we didn't use it. I would definitely come back again. The house was clean and was beyond what we were expecting. We had a great time using the pool and hot tub after all the skiing we did. The location was great; just across the street from the ski area. We still had to drive, but if you don't have a bunch of kid crap to haul with you, the shuttle is a nice option :) A very pretty complex. I'd love to see it in the summer. We made some great family memories this week.

Cozy mountain home gem!

  • 4 of 5

This mountain home was very cozy and inviting to come home to. We really liked how quiet it was even though you are right in town. We took the hike along the paved path and pleasantly found the most beautiful fall colors - made the trip! The indoor pool and jacuzzi were also nice for my family. Even though we didn't use the dining table, it was great for a large group. The only knock on anything was the gas fireplace was tougher to figure out and since it was messing with gas, we just decided not to use it. Wish it would've been on a remote or a switch. The downstairs bedrooms kept it dark in the morning light which was nice. All around great property - thanks!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for staying with us and thank you for the glowing review. Speaking of glowing the pilot wasn't turned on yet for the season we didn't anticipate it would be as cold during that time you were there in Sept so I apologize for that, typically it is on and the on/off dial is the only thing you have to deal with. Hope to see you again! Cheers, the Sloanes
