This is a newly renovated, large and bright one-bedroom apartment available to let in a period property in the quiet central location off Pembroke Road. Located in the heart of the prestigious embassy district of Ballsbridge with local restaurants, cafes and shops, the apartment is within easy walking distance of St. Stephen's Green, Dublin Convention Centre, Grand Canal Theatre, Aviva Stadium and the RDS (home of the famous Dublin Horse Show and many other events).

The apartment includes a generous entrance hall; a large, bright living room with dining/kitchen open space; a double bedroom with good storage; and a full bathroom. The apartment boasts high ceilings and underfloor heating and car parking facilities can be arranged. (There is also a double sofabed in the living room.)

The apartment is available immediately for short lets to medium-term lets -- monthly rates also available on request. Housekeeping services can be arranged as required. References required for medium-term lets.

Wonderful location, apartment and hosts!

Linda and her husband Brian are natural hosts, the offered us generous genuine hospitality and some much appreciated flexibility around our early (5am) check-in!

The apartment itself was large, bright and spotlessly clean. It is located in one of the nicest, quietest and safest parts of Dublin, while being a pleasant and leafy 10-15 minute stroll from the centre of the City in Grafton Street.

The apartment also features several high end features not common in holiday rentals including an induction hob (we have never see water boil so fast), a washer dryer and most impressively of all, underfloor heating. This was perfect for our baby as it not only provides a stable room temperature, but also eliminates draughts at ground level, giving him a wonderful warm play area.

I would recommend Linda and Brian's place to anyone but especially families with babies as the facilities and location are ideal, and the hosts are warm and wecloming!

We look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Dublin.

Convenient location

On the positive side.... the key arrangement was very easy and convenient. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location was perfect if you don't mind walking 40 minutes into town. It was away from the hustle and bustle and noise of the city center. Also, great hot water stamina.

On the down side..... our neighbors were exceptionally loud until around 2am all 3 nights we stayed here. I'm not sure if these were residents or other renters but it disturbed our sleep and ruined the aspect of the apartment being in an ideal quiet area.

Some nicer pillows would have been nice. The bed and pullout weren't the most comfortable beds but over all it was a pleasant stay.

Good Value

This is a basement apartment, the owners live upstairs. Separate entrance and complete privacy.

Upon arrival Linda forgot about our reservation but worked quickly to clean the apartment to have it ready for us. The hosts were very friendly, nice and helpful throughout.

The apartment is clean and very spacious. I found the bedroom got drafty but there are extra blankets (although a bit stained). Heated flooring is nice. Linens are provided. Bring your own soap/shampoo. You have a fridge, microwave, stove and TV.

The water temp in the shower fluctuated, it got real hot the first night but not in our other 2 days.

You are about a 20 minute walk from St. Stephens Green and about 45 minutes walk from Temple Bar area. Some days/nights we walked, other times we took a taxi/Hail-O.

Great location and value for a few days in Dublin.

Absolutely perfect for visiting Dublin.

We cannot recommend more highly this lovely apartment as well as its owners, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Tea and cookies were waiting for us. When our clothes washing was delayed on our last day, Linda dried it for us, despite her busy working schedule, so that we could take in one last museum. The apartment is a short walk from an airport bus stop and from bus lines into the city center. Shops are nearby, also, and Indian, Thai, and other restaurants. Good firm bed, private entrance, handy kitchen, plenty of dishes, TV if one has time to watch it. Lovely neighborhood.

Excellent place to stay, quiet and walkable to the centre

We stayed 5 nights and cannot fault the apartment or the location. It was quiet, spacious, comfortable and Linda went out of her way to be helpful on several occasions.

Communication prior to our stay was flawless. Location is excellent, we walked to St Stephens Green and caught the Hop On Hop Off bus and 3 times we walked to or from the Temple Bar area, very easy if you like walking (we are in our 60's and had no trouble).

Car parking has to be considered as the street is metered from 8am until 6pm on weekdays but Linda allowed us to park off-street for a fee that half the cost of the meter. Weekend street parking is free so we organised ourselves to use the car on 2 days and drive to Newgrange and to Glendalough.

Just what we were looking for

This place provided everything that we were looking for: clean, sufficiently close to the center of Dublin, close to a grocery store and restaurants and very affordable.

Linda was very helpful answering all of our questions.
