This is a newly renovated, large and bright one-bedroom apartment available to let in a period property in the quiet central location off Pembroke Road. Located in the heart of the prestigious embassy district of Ballsbridge with local restaurants, cafes and shops, the apartment is within easy walking distance of St. Stephen's Green, Dublin Convention Centre, Grand Canal Theatre, Aviva Stadium and the RDS (home of the famous Dublin Horse Show and many other events).

The apartment includes a generous entrance hall; a large, bright living room with dining/kitchen open space; a double bedroom with good storage; and a full bathroom. The apartment boasts high ceilings and underfloor heating and car parking facilities can be arranged. (There is also a double sofabed in the living room.)

Delightful Dublin stay

The apartment is superbly located in a beautiful suburb, surrounded by foreign embassies and walking distance to the city and nearby Stephens Green. The apartment is clean and bright and light and has plenty of space. The bed is very comfortable. The owners are pleasant and friendly.

Fantastic apartment in great location

Stayed as a family of 4 with 2 young children. Apartment was huge and perfect for our 2 night stay. Very quiet area as expected. Excellent communication from Linda from the outset.

The apartment has everything that you need - hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher which was very handy. Large bedroom and large sofa bed, plenty of storage, large bathroom with excellent shower and washing machine if required.

Location was fantastic as were visiting the RDS which is a 10 minute walk away. Local shops such as a good size Tesco Express within 5-10 minutes walk to collect groceries - there were plenty of shopping bags provided in the apartment. Only 15 to 20 minute walk towards St Stephens Green for tourist buses or onward walking down Grafton Street.

Will certainly love to return!

Just returned April 25; a 7 night visit. The place is as advertised; clean, comfortable, safe in a very nice area. While it is fun to strike out on your own to create your unique experience sometimes a little experience upfront is not a bad thing. Hence the title 'logistics'. AirCoach tickets purchased on line will get you from the airport to the Ballsbridge Hotel in approx 30 minutes. When you get off the bus look across the street to the left to another bus stop. This is where you will get the return bus at 8 after or 38 after the hour. Cross the street to the bus stop and continue a few yards to the US Embassy. Go right, the road splits, go right one block to Raglan Rd go left. At the US Embassy look straight ahead to see Roly's. Across the street is the way to the stadium and the DART entrance. Next to Roly's is a nice pub; The Bridge. When you leave the apartment go left on Raglan Road until the end. Go left on Baggot to the light. You will be on the corner of Waterloo and Baggot. ATM, groceries, booze, beer, food, pubs (The Waterloo), etc. With your back to The Waterloo look across the street down Waterloo to two very close bus stops. Catch the one on the right to everything downtown. The one on the left takes you to Donneybrook and to Kiely's Pub. You need to go there! Catch the 37A to downtown and the 37A to Donneybrook. If I had to do it over again I would catch the 37A towards city centre, tell the driver that you want to stay on the bus and return to Waterloo and Baggot. Pay attention and get oriented. St. Stephens Green, Trinity College, O' Connell Bridge, Temple Bar, Grafton Street, etc. Then return to Waterloo and Baggot. Next time you head in tell the driver Guinness Storehouse. He will drop you off in a semi bleak section of town. Head away from the river for a block or two, find the storehouse, head east towards Christchurch, Temple Bar, etc. Bus in, walk back. We always caught the return bus(when we took it) in the same place. Across the O' Connell Bridge, go left, first bus stop on the right slightly past the Arlington Hotel. Nice for a pint to tide you over until you get home. Near St. Stephens Green on Baggot are two places of note. Doheny & Nesbitts and across the street is Toners. Both are a step back in time as is the lounge entrance to Kiely's. Please note that you go thru US Customs in Dublin so the time from airport entrance to gate is extended. Buses do not have change. Hope this helps.

Muy bien

Esta semana santa hemos pasado unos días en este apartamento de Dublin. UN matrimonio con una hija joven. El apartamento está en el barrio de las embajadas, zona muy tranquila y a un paseo de las atracciones turísticas de la ciudad. Está suficientemente equipado para pasar una agradable estancia.

Close to town and nice to spread out!

We've just returned home and are enjoying reflecting on our trip. My 16 year old daughter and I took 10 days for her spring break and traveled to London, Edinburgh and Dublin and by the time we reached Dublin we were SO happy to spread out and relax in this "homelike" place! Brian was so friendly and welcoming and the property is so safe and close to everything. We felt like locals getting to enjoy the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The ONLY thing I would mention is that the neighbors are quite loud -- it sounds like a young family maybe and so we certainly can relate but it was apparent each night.

Young families do rent occasionally and, if we hear any noise or anyone mentions it to us, we would of course speak to the other guests.

Nice place to stay in Dublin

The house is very cosy and pretty, the area is safe and very quite at night. Linda was always accommodating with our requests, they live upstairs and you have independent entrance. The apartment was clean and warm, kitchen equipped including a dishwasher that was very helpful. Going to city centre is a nice and short walk, with the chance of exploring more a beautiful are. We spent 6 days and we'll probably go back to our next visit to Dublin.
