“You can easily reach the cottage both coming from Florence, Pisa or Rome: get into the Grosseto-Siena State highway, exit at “Civitella”, then follow indications to “Roccastrada”. Cross “Roccastrada” and follow indication to Sassofortino”, cross it, and follow indication to “Roccatederighi”. From Civitella exit, to Roccatederighi, is an about 22 km trip. Once in the main road of “Roccatederighi”(almost the only car road in the village) at the Pharmacy turn left and descend downhill on “via del Piano” always keeping your left, down to a little bridge (200 meter downhill), past the bridge you’ll find an ancient fountain on your left, keep going downhill for 300 meters you will see on the left a green wood sign indicating “Barberaia”, thats my cottage! Climb by car the road for 50 meter up to the parking place in the forest, leave the car and walk the last forty meters uphill to the cottage, do not climb the narrow trail with the car. ATTENTION!!! Again the owner apologize but if you are very old, disabled or with enormous luggage, this is not the right place for you, otherwise you are happily arrived!.
