Beautiful home, great location.

  • 5 of 5

Nestled is the woods with a view of Mother Nature, this home is the perfect escape for anyone looking for relaxation. The location is perfect for food shopping, restaurants, hiking, skiing....

Would love to return one day.

The home is clean, the kitchen is oversized and fully stocked with all cooking gear. Terry is a wonderful owner and easy to work with.

Highly recommended - 5 stars!

Absolutely Fantastic!

This house is unreal. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. The views out back can not be matched. Terry is so easy to deal with and provides everything you could need for your stay. Can’t wait to come back. If you aren’t staying here for your trip to VT, you’re missing out.

Really enjoyed this house. Perfect for a family of 4-6 heading to Mt Snow for a few days.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and kids and in laws (6 total) stayed here for a few days for a ski weekend at Mt Snow. The house is in a perfect location. About 10 minutes to Mt Snow and just a few minutes from various places to eat and drink. There’s also a little market 1 minutes down the street for last minute items or anything you may need to cook dinner at the house. The house has a fully equipped kitchen that’s got one of the biggest kitchen islands I’ve ever seen. Plenty of room for everybody to eat around it together. Plenty of pots and pans there to cook meals as well as other condiments or seasonings you may need. Great big leather sectional couch in the living room as well. Flat screen TVs in every room. The owner, Terry, is a super laid back guy that really wants you to have a great experience during your stay. We had a minor issue with a smoke detector making a beeping sound on the first day there and he had someone come over and fix it right away. The hot tub on the deck was tremendous. Perfect to sit in on a cold night after skiing all day. Kids loved it. I would gladly stay at this property again and again. Here’s the only minor critiques: 1) there’s a Keurig machine in the kitchen but it wasn’t working. But he also had a standard coffee pot that worked perfectly. 2) the house can absolutely sleep 6 but not in the way it’s set up. We used the downstairs pullout couch the first night but it was pretty uncomfortable. I think having the kids bring their sleeping bags is best. Two people can sleep right in the huge living room in sleeping bags. And the other 4 can use the bedrooms adjacent to the living room. There’s plenty of room to get creative for everyone to sleep comfortably.

Again, I would definitely recommend this house if you’re looking for a few days to relax in this part of Vermont.

Another Year, Another Ski Trip

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 6 had a great time at this property. We have been staying here 3 years in a row and will be back again next year! We love how close the house is to Mount Snow, yet is secluded from the road and other houses. The view from the deck is amazing and the Jacuzzi is so refreshing after a long day of skiing/snowboarding.

There are plenty of places close by to go out for dinner, but we prefer to stay in and cook meals as the kitchen is fully stocked for whatever you would like to cook.

We highly recommend this property. The owner is great and very accommodating, always making sure everything is taken care of prior to your stay. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Beautiful property

  • 4 of 5

Property is as pictured on VRBO. It's a beautiful new, clean and well appointed. It sits on a beautiful piece of land with a stream flowing by in a great location. The owner could not be more helpful and a better host. The only negative was the third bedroom. It's not really a bedroom, it's a basement room with no window, no bedroom door and only pull out couches. It's not super comfortable and impacted by the smells of the garage next next door. I think it should be marketed as a 2 bedroom plus bonus room not a third bedroom. If you don't need that room as a bedroom I would highly recommend the house, and we would certainly stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We had such a lovely stay here. The house looks like a New England barn, beautifully sited along the river. It has all the modern amenities including those we even didn't know we needed...sound system outside, by the hot tub! It is well appointed, with comfortable beds and all the necessary kitchen tools. The homeowner was very easy to work with and the house was spotless upon our arrival. When a storm rolled through and left a sheet of ice, he was quick to get a sanding truck out for us. Overall, we would highly recommend this for a family getaway. I hope we can return, soon!
