*If you need more space, we have another apartment available in the same building on the second floor that is 1000 sq ft with a private deck and that sleeps up to 6 people. The listing number is #809038.
Located in a Historic neighborhood of Chicago. This apartment has high ceilings & hardwood floors spread over two-level with a 12x12 covered private deck and backyard with a gas grill on a quaint and quiet tree lined street in Chicago's Ukrainian Village Neighborhood. It's a safe, family oriented neighborhood that is surrounded by many restaurants, bars, shops etc... for a trip like yours. You can walk to see beautiful churches, homes, restaurants, bars, shopping etc...
The space is fresh, clean and open. Spread over two floors are 2 living rooms and bedrooms and baths with a shared kitchen- which makes it easy to get away from your mates when one wants to have some quiet time or giving you plenty of space for entertaining and the outdoor deck overlooks the yard and is lovely for eating and socializing.
Each bedroom sleeps 2 and there are pullout couches in each of the living rooms that accommodate 2 more people each. 4 kids or 2 adults can use the bunk bed room (located in a small bonus room that is connected to one of the bedrooms) bringing the total capacity to 10-12 people.
Two nice sized full bathrooms have marble floors and new shower heads and individual shampoo, soap, conditioner, towels and toilet paper.
Parking is available for an extra fee on a first come, first served basis and there is free street parking as well. Inquire if you would like the reserved parking- the cost is $20 per day, per space.
My favorite breakfast joint, Whisk, is a block away on Chicago avenue, right by the #66bus stop. A few blocks North (less than a half mile & safe and scenic) is the very popular Buck-town area of more shopping, and entertainment. All of the main tourist destinations like the Mag Mile and Millennium park are easily accessed by jumping on the conveniently located and often running #66 bus. Or if you prefer to Uber or Cab it most attractions are within about a $10 ride (for Michigan avenue, John Hancock, Willis tower, Gold Coast etc).Walk to churches, restaurants & shops nearby or jump right on the #66 bus and head straight to the famous galleries in the River North neighborhood or to the famous Michigan Avenue. The #66 is conveniently just a a few steps away from the apartment and runs every 10 minutes! The #66 can also drop you walking distance to the merchandise mart where you can catch all of the 'L' trains and go to every corner of the city!
