About Joseph A. Noble

American man who is a retired telecommunications Sales VP for Asia. Lived in Bejing for 2 years, Singapore for 5 years and now 6 years in Koh Samui with my Mongolian Wife, Balthra. Retired in 2009 and moved to Koh Samui and opened a Subway in Lamai Beach. Original bought Unit 1 in 2007 then bought Unit 2 in 2008 so I would have the whole building. There are three building in this development with 2 condos (3 BR each) in each building. I live next door in Unit 2 so can provide any maintenance service necessary. Only one other permanent resident in this property, and one unit is rented out long term, so the remaining two condos are empty as the owners choose not to rent their units out, so it is very private here. I also own a lighting sculpture shop in Lamai called Apollo8 which sell the lights and paintings you see in this condo.

I bought this property, initially as a vacation house, because the view was fantastic and I could only dream of a place like this anywhere else. Jungle, ocean, coconuts trees, banana trees, bamboo.

What makes this condo unique

The place is in a jungle mountain setting, but is also very close to all the main grocery venues, Makro, Big C, and Tesco Lotus shopping Center. Anywhere else on the island and you would have to travel long distances to get supplies. Also very close to the upscale dining in Fishermans Village, and just 8km from Airport.

You will need to rent a car or truck for the time you are here,as the last part of the hill is pretty steep. You would want to do that for safety, anyway, on Koh Samui roads, and the taxi fees are outrageous, as they refuse to use their meters and no way to enforce it.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
