Updated house close to downtown
We enjoyed our stay very much at this house. Not only is it in Bozeman which is beautiful but the house itself was great. It is in a nice location within a few block walk to restaurants, bars and shops. The house itself was nicely remodeled with an updated modern kitchen with everything you would need to cook/entertain. The owner did a great job of checking in with us before/during/after our stay to make sure everything was going well. We would highly recommend this place to any of our family and friends and would be happy to stay here again.
Great place / location
A great place as home base for our daughter's graduation from MSU. Short walk to downtown. Kitchen well equipped. Perfect size. My hubby had trouble with the mattress (he does not like foam mattresses) but otherwise great!!
Amy is very helpful too!!!
My husband and I took our son to visit MSU and stayed here for a long weekend. The home is very clean and comfortable. We loved the "look" of the house with all the design updates that had been done. Nice amenities including plush towels and bedding. The location of this home was ideal for us... close to MSU campus and Bozeman Main Street. We'll definitely be back!
Thanks Stephanie for the review! Loved having you all here, you are welcome anytime. Hope things went well with visiting MSU. Bozeman is a great place!
Winter Stay 2014
We stayed her 12/28/14-1/2/15, coldest week of the year. We woke up with 3 of the days with no hot water, the homeowner made it our responsibility to contact her downstairs tenant to check the water heater, would not recommend staying here.
Also, we were charged the pet deposit and then contacted by the homeowner upset because we brought our dog.
I am sorry to hear there was dissatisfaction. I tried my best to resolve all issues in a timely manner and had apologized for the miscommunication about the dog. I am out of the country and traveling, so things are harder to manage. But, the downstairs tenant is our management and he tried his best to take care of the situation. The water heater issue apparently isn't anything we can resolve. We had two plumbers come out recently. One to service the water heater and another to double check it and he says, there isn't anything wrong. That it's been happening all over Bozeman and he thinks it is the weather affecting it. I am surprised with this review because when I followed up to make sure everything was ok after vacancy. This was the response. "Thanks Amy. Other than the hot water issue we really enjoyed our stay.... We would definitely stay there again." Also, there must have been enough hot water at least to take showers, my cleaning lady mentioned that every towel in the house was used.
Activities are endless. During the day, hang out at one of the many local coffee shops, window shop on main street, check out the green friendly library, a few museums including the Museum of the Rockies, Pioneer and Children's Museum. Winter and Summer farmer's markets, year round live performances held outdoors and indoors; including weekly summer concerts on main street, opera and ballet. Popular festivals as the Sweet Pea and SLAM, provides fun for all budgets. For a more active nightlife, many different bars and restaurants have music nightly. Take dance lessons, get PADI Scuba certified, go for long or short hikes, go antiquing, take a historical tour of the town. Winter is also full of easily accessible trails, entertainment and wildlife. There is even wildlife park that you can see live animals (grizzly bears). Winter sports galore like down hill, cross country, back country skiing, snow shoeing, ice climbing and ice skiing... when you are tired, sore and cold, soak your bones in the nearby hotspring. Don't forget that Yellowstone Park is nearby too.
