2 Bedroom 2 Bath Oceanfront Condominium
The ultimate beach vacation awaits - welcome to the endless white sand of Sanibel Island. Sanibel Beach Club II is right on the Gulf of Mexico at the eastern end of the island, just down the beach from the historic lighthouse. Our condo in unit 8 is the closest unit to the beach, without any obstructions as you look out to the gulf from the master bedroom, living room, or lanai.
Step out your door to the boardwalk across the sea grass just a few steps from the beach.
The air-conditioned unit was completely renovated last year, with new bathrooms, new furniture, and new decor. Enter the condo into the spacious kitchen area, past the 2nd bedroom (2 twin beds) and second bathroom, on into the dining room/living room (including queen pull-out sofa). Straight ahead are the sliding glass doors to the screened lanai, and to the left is the Master Suite with king bed, and master bathroom.
The unit also has a washer/dryer for your use.
There is a large pool with whirlpool spa. There is also a tennis court and shuffleboard court. Beach Club II's bicycles are available for free use at any time to take advantage of the Island's well-developed bicycle paths.

Why Steve Sutherland chose Sanibel Island
We love this this southeastern end of the island for its beauty, its quiet compared to the busier central section of the island, and for its excellent shelling.

Sanibel Island's white sand beach carries on for more than 10 miles from our end of the island near Lighthouse Point. Sanibel's entire length can be navigated by paved bicycle trails. The Island is also home to the notorious Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, open for tours by car or by bicycle. The resort provides free use of bicycles during your stay. Because of this, many people arrive at the island by taxi or airport limousine, and never use a car during their stay. Others prefer the flexibility of auto transport during their stay, whether it be to drive to Captiva, Sanibel's 'sister island' or to drive into Ft. Myers to go to one of its many attractions, including the spring training homes of the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins. Restaurants of every type, many specializing in fresh seafood, are present across the island. Cool retreats during midday sun include many shopping centers and a large and welcoming public library.
