Water oasis near Downtown Delray with private boat dock at Lake Eden
This property doesn´t admit children under 10 years old.
Enjoy an oasis of tranquility with spectacular waters views of Lake Eden, private dock with boat lift (our boat or yours), pool, 3B/2B, lovely Mexican tile/stucco house, full 2 car garage in a private Cul-de-Sac. All at biking distance from Downtown Atlantic Avenue and the ocean!
Lake Eden is a 49 acres natural lake (11.5 feet to 20 feet depth) surrounded by luxury homes and connected to Lake Ida (121 acres) allowing jet skiing, water skiing & fishing. Watch the incredible panoramic sunsets from the expansive deck, custom built teak wood and fiberglass row boat, or the ¾ length custom windows that cover almost 75% of the house!
Water views surround the property from a 3,000 sq feet composite wooden deck with a built-in kidney shaped pool.
Enjoy spectacular sunsets while floating in the pool, sitting on the deck, relaxing in the reading room, or just lying in bed. There is also fantastic fishing right outside your back door…
Or dine, shop and have fun at Downtown Delray (less than 2 miles away). Delray Beach was named the Most Fun Small Town in America by Rand McNally Best of the Road.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and TV, direct views from the lake & a glass door access to the deck. Lovely guest bedroom with two twin beds & glass door access to the deck. The third bedroom could be used as a second reading room/office or as a guest room with a queen sofa bed. The kitchen has brand new appliances (also new washer & dryer).
Three salon areas, one with library, TV, music equipment (surround sound) & Wii and Wi-Fi. Another one with a piano and spectacular views of the lake, and a third one also with water views and an office space. An ideal place to read and relax.
We love dogs and accept two small breeds or a medium one. All the property is fenced, so they can run free. The house has also a lovely backyard with lush vegetation.
The house is minutes away from I-95 which will take you to the exclusive Boca Raton shopping & entertainment in 15 minutes, Palm Beach Airport 20 minutes, Fort Lauderdale Airport in 40, and Downtown Miami 60 minutes.

About Edward Rosenberg
We are a happy couple living in Florida for 40 years now. My husband is from New York and I am from Spain. We love Florida and we enjoy being here everyday. We like the beach, biking and discovering new restaurants.
Edward Rosenberg purchased this House in 2003
Why Edward Rosenberg chose Lake Ida Shores
We bought this property for the spectacular views and proximity to downtown Delray and the beach. We love waking up surrounded by water. During the winter we open all the windows in the house and let the gentle breeze flow through.
What makes this House unique
Our house has the best of three worlds: quiet and peace at home, great days at the beach, and fun nights at downtown Delray. The house has a unique 30´s-Spanish flavor with the tile floor and stucco walls. Last, but not least, the house is really close to I-95 which makes it very easy to get anywhere in no time.

March / 2018. Stayed the month.Clean, safe, upper middle class neighborhood. Very Quiet surroundings. Large ,very private property. House is clean and comfortable. Lake view is as spectacular as shown in photos. Downtown Delray beach with all it's restaurants and shops is a 5 minute drive away, ( in our case, since we enjoy wine with our dinners, a $10 Uber ride).
We highly recommend this place.

Very nice. We had a great time!
The pool was fun and clean. We even tried the rowboat a couple of times! The lake is beautiful and the sunsets amazing.
So glad you enjoyed! It was a pleasure to have you as guests.
This is indeed a restful spot to vacation
The property is as nice if not nicer than as portrayed in the photos. The swimming pool is totally private, sunning on the extensive deck was wonderful and we enjoyed the pelicans, Limpkin, Muscovy ducks and cormorants who frequently were seen from the premises. Del Ray Beach is a town with a lot of character and we enjoyed a wonderful art show our first day there with many artists displaying their work on both sides of the street. There are many excellent restaurants, libraries, grocery stores etc. all near by. We enjoyed visits to Lion Country Safari, Wacodahatchee and Green Cay wildlife preserves and the Japanese Garden where we had a superb lunch. If my husband's health permits, I'd rebook next year.
What a lovely review! We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay so much, and delighted to hear we may have you again next year. It is a beautiful location, with tons of things to do around :) Thank you!
Simply the Best Rental in Delray
Alas, our time in Delray has come to a close. Living in this home has been a privilege, and we will treasure the memory of our stay here. The sunsets, the beauty of the water, the comfort, convenience and spaciousness of the house, and especially the kindness of our hosts, have made these past months magical and a complete pleasure. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, or a better home. Eddie and Lou, thank you both so much!
It was such a pleasure to have you both! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you soon again.
Lourdes and Ed
We stayed at Eddie and Lourdes's home for the month of February. We had a great time....every thing you could possibly need was there. The view was fantastic and so relaxing . Loved it!! We will be returning next year!
A Slice of Heaven
I rented this lovely home located in a quiet cul de sac for two weeks over the holidays. The house is a perfect set up for relaxation and entertaining. The best feature is the back deck overlooking the lake. Lourdes, the owner could not have been nicer. I requested lounge chairs for the pool and they appeared in the garage a day later. This home is dog friendly and was ideal for our little dog. My husband wanted to buy it within an hour of arriving. I would rent this home again in one second. Meg Jan' 15
Thanks for such a nice review! Megan and her family were dream guests, and they have the cutest dog :)! We are delighted you enjoy your stay.
Delray Beach is an eclectic, artistic, fun town. Excellent dining options from formal to casual. Lots of live music any day of the week along with ongoing arts & crafts festivals.
