Sometimes a Picture Isn't Worth a Thousand Words

The picture isn't accurate for the studio apartment we received. We stayed in a different studio although I had expected to stay in the one in this picture. The studio we got was an adequate size for two people but had a spare bed for a third person and a high chair which appeared to be broken in the corner of the living room taking up some of the space. Three people would have been very crowded so I don't know why they had the bed and high chair. The shower was badly leaking when we arrived at the rate of 2-3 cups of water a minute, creating the illusion of a small fountain. I immediately requested that it be fixed and the management promptly provided a handyman the next day who worked on it for an hour and said the entire mechanism would have to be replaced and that he could not fix it at this time, so it leaked for the rest of the week that we were there. Two days before we left the bearings in the bathroom fan started to vibrate causing it to make a loud rattling noise when it was turned on with the bathroom light. Hopefully this will be fixed along with the shower leak. Only two bath towels were provided for the bathroom both of which had holes in them. I requested extra towels and none were ever delivered. This meant using the same towels daily or doing laundry daily. No wash clothes and only 1 hand towel were provided. The elevator in this building makes a mournful howling sound like a hound on the moors. You can hear it in the apartment any time anyone uses the elevator. If you are a light sleeper it will wake you up. Fortunately I am not a light sleeper. However I did notice it when I was awake. What did wake me up were the loud neighbors upstairs who were up until 4 or 5 in the morning discussing things of apparent major importance at great volume for hours and the group of 20-30 students in the street 3 floors down coming home at 6:30 AM on Sunday morning after partying all night. Finally the kitchen has minimalistic provisions--no dish towels, no salt or pepper, no cutting board, no paper towels, no sponges to do dishes with, just to name a few of the deficiencies. So, if the location is the only thing of importance to you, this place is well located. You will however have to deal with the rest.

All you need for a great stay

I had a great time staying at this apartment. Location was superb for exploring. You can walk to a lot of the main spots and if you're not a fan of walking, no fear, the metro is merely two blocks away. It's a clean apartment, cutely decorated with really all you need during your stay. The owners are responsive to all communication and always willing to help. Loved it!

Good location, that's about it

Me and my husband booked this apartment for a two night stay in late September. We arrived past the normal check in time, almost 24:00, and was able to easily call and get the access codes to enter.

The apartment is very basic, the bed there is a full size, with only one sheet covering the bad mattress and an itchy comforter, no other sheet. There was 2 very flat pillows, and one additional near a fold out bed that had no pillow case.

The A/C was locked so we couldn't use it and it was HOT which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep even with the balcony door open.

The shower does not work except for the main shower head, which I had to crouch to get under and I am 5'3".

We never saw someone at the check in desk for the two nights we were there, no matter what time we came/left the apartment.

Now for the good. The location is perfect. We easily got to the apartment by aerobus from the airport and a quick 5 minute walk following. You have easy access to 2 main metro line stops depending where you want to go in the city. Lots of options nearby for food/drinks/shopping and easy access to the gothic quarter. There is a cute bakery a few doors down we grabbed a quick breakfast at our last morning which was great!

Overall, great location. No frills housing, but if you're like us and won't spend much time in the apartment it will do for a few nights.

Love to stay here! will be back for sure

Been there for 3 days and had an amazing experience!

I love the place. It's so close to everywhere, groceries,mall,stores,restaurants!

We met Amit the guy who stand by there to make our room clean and he's ready to provide is with any info that we need, he also keep our belonging and pass it to our friend who leave there (because we are over baggage).

He's communicative even when I already back to my country and Whatsapp him to find the item that I accidently left in my room, He found it for us and pass it together with our other item to my friend.

Thank you Amit, will be back for sure, see you again!
