Really beautiful views and and prettily decorated!
It was a very nice property with a beautiful Mountain View! Each bedroom room has its own bath. We had 12 people 6 adults and 6 children. Worked well with the 3 comfy king size beds and bunk room for 4, along with pull out couch. Nicely appointed kitchen with upscale plates and wine glasses.
Overall would return again! Thanks for a beautiful view and vacation!
Judy's Highlands property is the picture perfect mountain retreat, from the high quality Pottery Barn/Hotel Collection bedding, to the en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom, to the Michael Aram accessories scattered throughout the property, the attention to detail is superb (this is definitely not your standard vacation rental). The wood burning fireplace with gas start-up was a real hit as well. The property's proximity to downtown Highlands couldn't be better (close enough that you can see the lights in the distance at night but far enough to enjoy the quiet mountain nights). Judy goes out of her way to ensure the comfort and convenience of her guests. Looking forward to our next visit!
Wonderful home in great location!
Wonderful house with beautiful views of the mountains. It is a quick drive to town. We are already planning our girls trip back to the house next fall.
House very nice. Had a problem with some crickets in the house.
Very nice. We come every year in the fall.
Heaven in Highlands!
Our family stayed 10/6-9/17 at Judy Akers' property. We had the best time and the house was the reason :) We were in town for a wedding and we had an unexpected visitor called Hurricane Nate Monsoon winds and rain! However, this comfortable and well appointed home was our refuge and the 10 (2 small children) of us stayed safe, warm and dry and just enjoyed being together! It honestly felt like our own home! We didn't leave the house on Sunday until the evening wedding at Old Edward's Inn Farm House. We highly recommend staying at this property and if we ever find ourselves back in Highlands, NC we will be inquiring about this home!!

Wonderful accommodation in Highlands!
Our family of 10...ranging from five years old to...way more than five years old...thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. No detail is overlooked and it is very homey and comfortable. I am already looking forward to returning to Highlands and hope this property is available when we do!! Thanks for sharing this home with a view!
