About lisa and charley erck

For many years, we have been hosting family and friends, sharing with them our enjoyment of this beautiful island. We love to show and tell our favourite beaches, snorkel spots, hikes, restaurants, shops, and activities. Charley has combined his love of wood working with his passion for the ocean and surfing to create wood surfboards. Lisa, a massage therapist by trade, loves hula. We also play music together.

A special stay with great folks in Honoka'a!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of three (13 y/o daughter) experienced a special stay with Lisa and Charley in their beautiful home. They were gracious hosts providing all the comforts of home along with friendly and interesting company. We were given lots of helpful information and tips during our stay. Super comfortable beds and rooms, lush gardens/outdoors, yummy papaya, scones and muffins for breakfast, convenient laundry and absolutely wonderful hosts! A great choice if needing a lovely place to stay in Honoka'a.

Such a charming place filled with stories and music!

  • 5 of 5

We feel very fortunate to have stayed with Lisa and Charley! They were so kind to let our dog, Elmer, come too, even though they tried to be friendly, he was a little aloof! The house is charming and comfortable and full of windows that bring in all the beautiful outdoors. There were several "best parts'. One, the band rehearsal we got to listen too, two, light breakfast and really good coffee every morning. three, listening to Lisa tell stories about the family and about the area. and four, just hanging out in a lovely area. Perfect stay - highly recommend! Carolyn and Jaime

We stayed two nights with Lisa and Charlie. We felt so welcomed, like we were visiting old friends. It was the best sleep I had in months. We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful home and property, peaceful, warm , inviting

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful vacation memories were made here! Lisa and Charlie are warm and inviting-- their hospitality is top- notch. We felt at home immediately. We stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 young children. The kids got to help pick coffee cherries and sample sugar cane. Lisa and Charlie gave us great insider tips for places to go with the kids ranging for hiking, to dining, to swimming at local beaches. Their home is filled with wonderful books for kids and adults alike. A handful of fun, family movies is available for viewing. Hope to return one day.

Beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful home. Lisa and Charley were so nice and welcoming. The home is on a gorgeous lot, and the drive up the mountain to the home is spectacular. I believe some of the largest trees on the island must be alongside this road. I highly recommend a stay here. Wonderful people. Wonderful home.
