We loved this villa! It was perfect for our family of four, children ages 11 & 14. The location was excellent. It was quiet, but still close to everything. We liked being able to walk to the Hotel Le Toiny to have lunch on the beach. We liked that we could do a short hike/walk from the house to the point past the hotel. And my daughter and I liked being able to walk easily down to the beach and search for shells, rocks, and sea glass. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. Carole was very helpful in arranging our rental car and stocking the kitchen. She was friendly and quick to answer any questions we had.

Amazing 3 week stay at this Villa!

  • 5 of 5

Pictures do not do this villa justice. It is absolutely beautiful - has a huge partially covered outside space that's as big as the indoor space. Very comfortable for upto 3-4 people! Beautiful bathrooms and a massive kitchen. Kitchen is stocked with dishes and anything you could need, air conditioning works like a charm, Satellite TV, speakers, great WIFI! Maid service, Gardener and pool guy were appreciated! Carole and the owner have maintained this property really well. Carole did a great intro to the island and villa and told me some great spots to go. I added Carole on whatsapp and messaged her with any questions I had - she is very accessible.

The view is unbeatable because there are no villas between you and the ocean. Location in St Bart's does not matter as much because you need to drive anywhere for dinner and Gustavia (the city centre) is a drive away anyway. Coming out of the villa, on the left is the more interesting one lane drive but you can also take the longer way to St Jean on the right.

In St Bart's, went to St Jean beach, Governer (hair raising drive but awesome swimming), Saline, Columbier (actually not an easy walk, there are a few cliff points) and flamands. Butcher in St Jean is amazing for takeout lobster and steak. Also, do the sunset at lighthouse in Gustavia. Dinner at Eden Rock (cocktails before hand) and Bonito - more pricey. For more reasonable prices, The Hideaway in St Jean, Grain de Sel at Saline, Tom's Juice Bar in Gustavia (must do for healthy food). If you crave sushi, there is a place close to the villa (NOT on tripadvisor and totally undercover) - go to Yo Sushi Mania St Barth - beautiful view and awesome shrimp tempura. grocery shopping at airport grocer or Oasis. Go to le ti - if you are looking for a different club / bar / entertainment experience. Cafe do Brazil for drinks was fun!

Mosquitoes are common at this time of year but it was not bad at all. bring Bug spray! The Villa has candles.

Did a lot of walks and a lot of just hanging out at the villa. Walk up the mountain on your left (when you see the ocean) and you'll see goats! Walk down to the beach, watch the surfers. Brought coffee and used the coffee maker and nespresso machine quite a bit. Would definitely return. The view from the patio is UNBEATABLE. There is a friendly cat that comes and visits sometimes.

Wonderful, new built, well appointed, best imaginable view on wild side of the island

  • 5 of 5

Always wonder when you see the pictures on the website what element may have been left out or whether they are so dated as to be no longer relevant...not the case here. House is gorgeous, new, well designed. The view is extraordinary with unencumbered 180 degrees view on the ocean. Short walk down to the beach. But do note that the beach isn't well suited to swimming for all but the most intrepid, many surfers to watch however.

For those that are familiar, this is on the far east side of St. Barths, often referred to as the wild side as it has a nearly constant breeze and is less populated. As a result you need to expect to spend a few minutes driving to get anywhere. Driving is generally necessary given the unwalkable roads / dangerous biking. So it will be about 5 minute drive to get morning croissants, few more to get to St. Jean / airport, and a couple more to Gustavia---nothing is more than 15 minutes apart other than in the worst of high-season traffic.

Management agent was helpful with various stuff including arrival/departure, restaurant reservations and also dealing with the difficult safe. Of course don't really need a safe on this island, but feels better stashing passports there. Housekeeping was surprisingly thorough. Owner even came by to reset the elaborate tv/stereo system.

Highly recommended.

Carole's 2 bedroom villa on Toiny Beach was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I plus another couple had a great time enjoying the views from the deck and the pool. The villa pictures are lovely, but still do not capture the in-person beauty of the villa. It was impeccably clean when we arrived and maid service was also provided. For those interested in the bathrooms, they are located behind the bed wall in each room and have closing frosted glass doors for privacy. There is not a tub but dual sinks with pleny of counter space and a nice walk-in shower. Carole met us at the airport and helped us transport our bags to the villa, about a 10 minute drive. Toiny Beach, with excellent shell-collecting and hiking opportunities, was a short 5 minute walk from the villa. The main town of Gustavia was less than 15 minutes away. I would highly recommend this villa to anybody considering a trip the St. Barths.

This place rocks!

  • 5 of 5

This house is off the charts. Is closer to the beach than one of the fanciest hotels on the island and a much better value. Everything is appointed perfectly. The views are amazing, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area are immaculate. I can't wait to go back.
