George and Rebecca Holland
About George and Rebecca Holland
George and I are from Texas and we purchased this property while our son was attending college at Emory & Henry. If you've never seen Emory & Henry college, be sure and make the short trip to exit 26 off I-81 to visit the oldest college in Virginia. We fell in love with the beauty of Southwestern Virginia and hope to retire here someday. George loves to fly fish the South Holston, while my favorite activity is going to plays at the Barter, attending arts and crafts festivals, and walking along the Creeper Trail.
George and Rebecca Holland purchased this Townhome in 2011
Why George and Rebecca Holland chose Abingdon
We looked at many properties in Virginia and settled on this beautiful town home. We love that it is close to everything the area has to offer yet is tucked back in a quiet residential area. It's nice to be able to walk down the hill to the Highland's shopping center and grab a meal at JJ's, Heather's, or work out at the fitness center. Bristol, Virginia, with all its shops and restaurants off exit 7, is a close drive.
What makes this Townhome unique
This town house had recently been redone before we purchased it with new paint, counter tops, and all stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The layout is very efficient with lots of closet space. The finished basement became a bedroom with the addition of a bathroom in the spring of 2014.

The Blue Ridge Townhouse Abingdon Ba
This condo is trim and tidy with all the comforts you could need. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped, and the bedrooms so comfortable! It was nice having the garage for the car.
Best place ever
This was one of my favorite trips with my girls and dad. The place was perfect. Will return in the future. Thanks for allowing us to make memories!!
Loved the garage. Comfortable and clean.
We enjoyed staying at this Townhome, while looking at homes. The only drawback for me, because of my back and knees was the many steps going to the front door and the step driveway to take the trash can back to the street. It is very conveniently located near many stores, and easy access to the interstate.
Thank you for your kind remarks. Becky
Great place to stay while visiting the Abingdon area
The house was very comfortable and offered everything we needed for the weekend. Everything was very clean and there was plenty of towels and basic house needs. There were plenty of TVs available but did not watch any as we were too busy visiting the area and each other. All information that was provided before our arrival was very helpful and accurate. The garage is narrow but was deep enough to fit a small car and SUV. The driveway is very steep but the weather was dry while we were there and the vehicles fit in the garage so no issue for us.
We liked the house and the size was perfect
The house was lovely and just the right size for the four of us. The only drawback was the driveway which was very steep. I walk with a cane and was very careful.
