We purchased this house in 2013 as our main dwelling. We spend time in the Vancouver area with family.

Beautiful view and great alpine and nordic skiing
Our family has just spend a fabulous 7 nights in Silver Star and we all loved every moment. The accommodation was perfect as being on 3 levels it gave us privacy and plenty of space to enjoy each others company & also have some quiet time if needed. Being really well equipped we cooked and ate in most nights which was ideal after skiing all day. The location suited us as it was just a little out of town but we could still ski in and ski out. The view was breathtaking and the beds extremely comfortable. Mark's recommendations and advice was invaluable. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thanks Mark for sharing your house with us. Kind Regards Vicki
This great duplex is located in the new development called The Ridge. We were pleasantly surprised when we first walked in. We had 7 adults with two children and we comfortably fit with room to spare. All the beds were very comfortable. There are two areas to entertain and watch television which is great when the kids are with you. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of room to bring as much food as you desire. The views of the valley in the morning are incredible. Directly behind the house is the Criss Cross ski way which goes from the top of the mountain down to the Silver Queen chair. In the mornings you can access Powder Gulch (main lift to top) via the Silver Queen very easily in under 20 minutes while skiing some freshly groomed runs. We had all range of skiers and access was fantastic. Great skiers can clip in right outside door or beginners can walk a few short steps to ski way. We were really impressed with how easy it was to access coming off the mountain. Criss Cross starts right off the Powder Gulch and is super gentle for the first time skiers. The location is a couple minute drive to the village. Driving to and from the village and Tube Town was actually easier than walking with kids. What we enjoyed the most was the new construction of the house. Everything in the house was recent and up to date. From the moment we walked in we just felt welcomed and comfortable staying at this property.
We have spent the last two years renting this home with friends during February break. The home is fantastic as it gave us a chance to have the teenagers with their own space to relax while the adults vested in the main living space. The location is perfect with fantastic views and it comes with every possible amenity required. The owners are great to deal with and we look forward to going back again and again. Thanks for opening your home and providing fantastic memories.
We just spent 3 nights in this lovely well designed home which was very close to the village and from where we could ski in/ski out. The kitchen had all the amenities and the soaker tub in one of the master bedrooms had a great view looking down the valley towards Vernon. We brought our teenage daughters with us who enjoyed having the separate living room on the lower level to watch their TV shows. We would highly recommend this home to anyone!
This place does not disappoint! Has a fabulous mountain view from the master that you have to see to believe! It is well furnished and has comfortable beds. Perfect for three couples or three families with kids using bunks. Ski in/out feature is great! We loved the mountain. it is near a quiet little village that has what you'll need, but does not include loud night life. We enjoyed cooking in and used the BBQ (very nice!) It was a perfect get away for us. Highly recommend this one!
