Enjoyable experience

  • 4 of 5

The Coop offers the two most important amenities: a comfy mattress and peaceful quiet. It's also spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water and great water pressure! The unit is comfy and cozy. The hostess is very sweet and friendly, and we were given bottled water, orange juice, fresh English muffins and delicious homemade huckleberry jam! Thank you!!! The reason I am giving four stars instead of five is twofold. One, it's difficult to find and confusing when you get there as to where you will be staying. A cute sign saying "The Coop" with a painting of a chicken or something along those lines would help tremendously. And two, although the interior is nicely decorated and quite welcoming (although surprisingly not chicken or farm themed as we'd been expecting and kind of hoping for), the exterior lacks curb appeal. There's a variety of vehicles and campers parked around, along with what appear to be a couple of workshop areas and a shed. Once we were directed where to go, we enjoyed a lovely stay. Thank you!

Even better than advertised!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I along with our golden retriever Moose stayed at the Coop for a month. I had been skeptical that it could really be as nice as all the reviewers said but it was! First, we were greeted with the infamous fresh eggs, juice, muffins, huckleberry jam- all delicious and such a wonderful welcoming touch! The Coop was clean, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities listed, along with some extras. We did not need to buy anything but food. The bed and bedding were very nice, the towels were plentiful and fluffy, and the sofa was comfortable for those rare times when we sat still long enough to settle in. Soooo great to have the washer and dryer as well! The location is terrific, close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to feel like you're in the country. The setting is beautiful, private but not isolated, and right on a gorgeous spring fed pond which Moose (and we) thoroughly enjoyed! Whether swimming, fishing, boating, or just sitting on its banks, the pond is a major plus!

And the hosts Clarene and Stanley (and Henry, their sweet Brittany Spaniel) are delightful and so helpful. We had many a great chat sitting out in front of the Coop. We also enjoyed their extended family, especially six year grandson Isaac and his mom Elaine. Isaac kept Moose entertained with the energy that only a six year old can muster. And he was always plucking a tomato or a cucumber for us from their lovely garden, and even brought us a filleted whitefish that he and Grandpa had just caught. Yum!

We would wholeheartedly recommend the Coop and are already planning for a stay here next year!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week while visiting Glacier National Park in the summer. Our stay was wonderful. Close enough to the park to be convenient, but also close to town and other things to do nearby.

A clean, peaceful home away from home

  • 5 of 5

This property was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything I needed for my month long stay. The property is very quiet with stunning views and great running trails. The host was very respectful of my space and very nice to chat with. I really enjoyed rowing on the pond and watching the fish, fishing and baby ducks! When I arrived I was greeted with yummy fresh eggs from the coop and jam. This was a perfect place to stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Clarene and Stanley, her husband, were wonderful, as were their entire family. And that includes the chickens and Henry, to dog (who visited us daily for a back scratch)!. The place was exactly as listed.
