About Ann Cramm

The owner is a businessman who resides primarily in Florida. His work, young children and travels prevent him from spending as much time in North Carolina as he would like, thus his decision to make his property a VRBO.

I am Ann Cramm, the happy property manager; I am a full time resident of Waynesville as I have been for 20+ years, and am always accessible.

Why Ann Cramm chose Smoky Mountains

The Smokey Mountains in Western North Carolina provide some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Jim's dedication to continuously improving his property and making it uniquely upscale is a testament to his love of the area.

This property is located 10 minutes from lovely, historic downtown Waynesville, which being centrally located in Western North Carolina, makes us approx. 40 minutes to Asheville (which boasts the Biltmore House, the Grove Park Inn, just to name two of many Asheville attractions,) approx. 30 minutes to Cataloochee Ski Area, approx. 30 minutes to Cherokee (headquarters for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee, gambling at Harrah's Casino, and golf at Sequoyah National Golf Club,) approx. 1 hour from Nantahala River Rafting, approx. 45 minutes from Smokey Mountain Railway or the entrance to the Smokey Mountain National Park, and15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our location is perfect for enjoying ALL that the Smokey Mountains have to offer.

Downtown Waynesville abounds in history and boasts a thriving main street with shops, restaurants, art galleries, breweries and more. We are proud of our two state of the art fitness centers (Haywood Regional Fitness Center and Waynesville Parks and Recreation Center,) as well as our numerous private workout facilities. We are home to the Performing Arts Center at the Shelton House where the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre produces a year-round schedule of plays and musicals which are open to the public.

What makes this cottage unique

Jim saw the potential in the property and gradually purchased all three houses, the whole of which is one of the premier estate properties in Western North Carolina.

Great location, cozy, cottage with a beautiful mountain view

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I visited this perfect, peaceful, cozy cottage for 3 nights. We were at total peace, the sounds of birds, wild turkeys, and watching the chipmunks and ground squirrels was so much fun. We walked every day all over the property and down the asphalt road. The cottage was very well laid out, clean and the artwork in it was beautiful. The TV in the living room was a very nice size as well as in the master. The tv in the 2ND bedroom was smaller but nice. The deck was awesome we set outside almost all day with a beautiful mountain view, rolling hills, and the sound of peace and tranquillity. The deck on the backside had worderful gliders that were so comfy. It was our Lil slice of Heaven for 3 nights. Ms. Cramm was a wonderful property manager and very attentive. This place was in a great location 10 minutes to any restaurant in Waynesville. We enjoyed the Buttered Biscuit, best breakfast in town. And Bogart's had a really huge baked sweet potato that was delicious as was the hamburger steak. Wonderful experience all the way around!!!

Great location, comfortable home and lovely community.

A few minutes from the convenience of town but as secluded and quiet of a location as you could want. Beautiful views, well equipped kitchen and nice fireplaces. Waynesville also has a lovely downtown area with a variety of shops and restaurants. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway too.

Great Location....

The house is very comfortable and has a beautiful view. Convenient to everything you need in Waynesville and the surrounding area. Best of all the weather was perfect and we enjoyed feeding/watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. The owner was very responsive to our needs.

Lovely property! Great location, attention to details...

  • 5 of 5

My best friend and I did a girls' week at this lovely property. The guest house is located well up into the hills, providing stunning views. The sunsets are particularly stunning. The house is well-appointed, with beautiful finishes like granite countertops with undermount sinks, high-quality cabinets, and matched sets of dishes, silverware, and cookware. The owner clearly spent a lot of time and put a lot of thought into all the details to make this a special, comfortable place to stay. It is meticulously maintained. Ann, the property manager, was very responsive to questions, and super nice. We spent our time mostly out on the deck listening to the bullfrogs and birds or playing scrabble on the covered side porch. Breakfast bellinis overlooking the mountain - can't beat it! The large TV in the living room, with DVD player, was perfect for evening entertainment. We absolutely loved it and will return!

Beautiful mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

This property was everything we expected and more. Nestled in the hills outside of Waynesville, it was a quiet and peaceful getaway for my wife and I. The house and property were perfect. Upon arrival, the property was immaculate and ready for quests. Would definitely use this property/owner again!

Lovely Mountain Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four LOVED our stay! The home was clean & exactly as the photos presented, actually the Mountain views were even BETTER than the pictures could convey! The property was perfect for our Easter egg hunt & for the kids & pups to play ! Our favorite time was spent staring at the mountains, playing in / and listening to , the babbling brook and hillside! We loved how close we were to the Blue Ridge Parkway & LOVED our dining experience at the SWEET ONION in downtown Waynsville, highly recommend! Thank you for a GREAT stay.

The only inconvenience is having to take your own trash (beyond 1 bag) to the local dump at there sporadic hours of operation, ( to avoid a charge) not ideal when wanting to relax on Mountain time during vacation.

Owner's Response: I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will return soon. Sorry about the inconvenience of trash removal, but since there is no trash pick up in this area, it has to be taken to the local dump.
