Come And Relax On The Toccoa River (Great For Families And Everyone Else!)

Bedrooms 4
Space 2,260 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

3 Bedroom And 3 Full Bathrooms Directly Overlooking The River

Our community has 11 acres with approx. 600 feet of Toccoa River Frontage. With a beautiful water feature, fire pits and picnic table on the banks of the Toccoa River.

The maximum number of adults and children we can accommodate is 8.

Our cabin/condo has 3 private bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In our loft we have a beautiful set of log bunk beds with a sitting area. The upstairs bedroom has a King size bed and there is a full bath upstairs. The main floor bedroom has a Queen size bed and there is a full bathroom on the main floor. The basement bedroom has a Full size bed and there is a full bathroom on the basement level. The family room has a large screen television with Dish TV service. There is a wood burning fireplace for those cool evenings or for the sound of the crackling fire.

While we are attached to another cabin we are in a remote setting in a very small community that has only 8 homes in it. There is no other community like ours in the North Georgia Mountains.

There is a pool table, Games and Puzzles to use during your down time. We have WiFi and free long distance for the continental United States. There is a hot tub for your enjoyment overlooking the river. Our waters are stocked by the state with Rainbow and Brown Trout. We also stock the river with additional fish each year. We ask that you practice catch and release as we are trying to build a trophy fishery.

In addition to trout there are a small amount of smallmouth bass in the river. Fishing requires a valid Georgia fishing license and a trout stamp. Our property extends to the center of the river and we ask that you respect the other private land owners. For those who like to canoe, kayak, fish or just play in the clear mountain water there are steps leading right to the water. There is plenty or room for the kids to play and explore.

There is a large gas grill on the deck for your use and enjoyment. We have a full modern kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. There is a washer and dryer for your use on the basement level.

There is parking for 2 vehicles with additional overflow parking available. Please advise if additional parking is needed.

About Robert and Susan King

I am a Georgia native and have always loved the mountains. Having traveled the U.S. and abroad the north Georgia mountains are still my favorite.

I love to hike, fish, climb and explore! There is no place better to relax than on the banks of a beautiful mountain river.

Robert and Susan King purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Robert and Susan King chose Northeast Mountains

I was lucky to visit the cabin one spring morning. I was sitting inside as the sun came up. There was a mist on the banks of the river and deer in the yard. When the sun rose the entire cabin began to glow in the early morning sun. It was amazing and at that moment I was sold.

What makes this cabin unique

Having a great cup of coffee watching the sunrise. A glass of wine on the porch watching the fireflies in the evening. Looking at the stars on a clear night you can see the Milky Way!

Taking a walk at night during a full moon. Fishing early in the morning while the mist is still on the water. Floating down the river from Deep Hole in a tube during the Summer - awesome!

Beautiful piece of Mountain Paradise!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This is one of the best mountain locations we have ever visited!!!! Isolated and right on the Toccoa River. The cabin was stocked with everything you need (except your food). The owners are great and will bend over backwards to accommodate you. If you love the mountains this is the place for you!!!!

Best Cabin Ever ...

  • 5 of 5

This cabin exceeded our expectations! Everything was as described. We stayed from December 28, 2016 until January 2, 2017. The kitchen was well equipped, nice dining table, large bedrooms, and huge balcony with beautiful views. Owner was very polite and easy to work with. Thanks for the great stay!

Great summer getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was amazing. Owners even called after we arrived to be sure we had settled in and everything was fine. Absolutely beautiful location. The long curvy road to get to the cabin was a challenge but once there we were glad we had chosen this location. Blue Ridge is a closer area to find things to do rather than Helen. We saw deer and lots of wildlife. The cabin was so comfortable, made us feel like home. We would love to visit again.

A great Thanksgiving weekend !

  • 5 of 5

Great place and great accommodations. What was most impressive to me was the honest way the owner resolved an issue. The dryer was not working properly during our stay and the owner gave back a $200 refund to compensate for the inconvenience . The owner's gesture showed he is honest and willing to assume responsibility . Thank you and I definitely would recommend your place to friends !

Great location, great time!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time, everything was clean, well maintained and had no problems. We loved the location, even though it is a duplex style cabin we only heard the neighbors (and owner of that side) once during our 5 day stay. The water was very low at the time, but the stream right behind the cabin is beautiful. My 17 year old son wants to go back and fish more than he was able to this trip so we will look into booking here again. Thanks again for the use of the cabin, we recommend it. No issues with the whole VRBO process.

Just right getaway on the Toccoa River

  • 5 of 5

Family as well as couple friendly spot in North Georgia. Removed from the hustle and bustle, this cabin was filled with amenities and space. Whether traveling from Blue Ridge or Dahlonega, roads were great and the fall color and views were very nice. Great place to relax and truly get away - hot tub, pool table, stargazing was exceptional and the Milky Way is right above. Everything in this cabin works. Large deck overlooking the Toccoa River - fire pits on the river's edge and easy access for fishing/walking along the river.
