Our community has 11 acres with approx. 600 feet of Toccoa River Frontage. With a beautiful water feature, fire pits and picnic table on the banks of the Toccoa River.
The maximum number of adults and children we can accommodate is 8.
Our cabin/condo has 3 private bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In our loft we have a beautiful set of log bunk beds with a sitting area. The upstairs bedroom has a King size bed and there is a full bath upstairs. The main floor bedroom has a Queen size bed and there is a full bathroom on the main floor. The basement bedroom has a Full size bed and there is a full bathroom on the basement level. The family room has a large screen television with Dish TV service. There is a wood burning fireplace for those cool evenings or for the sound of the crackling fire.
While we are attached to another cabin we are in a remote setting in a very small community that has only 8 homes in it. There is no other community like ours in the North Georgia Mountains.
There is a pool table, Games and Puzzles to use during your down time. We have WiFi and free long distance for the continental United States. There is a hot tub for your enjoyment overlooking the river. Our waters are stocked by the state with Rainbow and Brown Trout. We also stock the river with additional fish each year. We ask that you practice catch and release as we are trying to build a trophy fishery.
In addition to trout there are a small amount of smallmouth bass in the river. Fishing requires a valid Georgia fishing license and a trout stamp. Our property extends to the center of the river and we ask that you respect the other private land owners. For those who like to canoe, kayak, fish or just play in the clear mountain water there are steps leading right to the water. There is plenty or room for the kids to play and explore.
There is a large gas grill on the deck for your use and enjoyment. We have a full modern kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. There is a washer and dryer for your use on the basement level.
There is parking for 2 vehicles with additional overflow parking available. Please advise if additional parking is needed.
I am a Georgia native and have always loved the mountains. Having traveled the U.S. and abroad the north Georgia mountains are still my favorite.
I love to hike, fish, climb and explore! There is no place better to relax than on the banks of a beautiful mountain river.
Robert and Susan King purchased this cabin in 2010
I was lucky to visit the cabin one spring morning. I was sitting inside as the sun came up. There was a mist on the banks of the river and deer in the yard. When the sun rose the entire cabin began to glow in the early morning sun. It was amazing and at that moment I was sold.
Having a great cup of coffee watching the sunrise. A glass of wine on the porch watching the fireflies in the evening. Looking at the stars on a clear night you can see the Milky Way!
Taking a walk at night during a full moon. Fishing early in the morning while the mist is still on the water. Floating down the river from Deep Hole in a tube during the Summer - awesome!
Family as well as couple friendly spot in North Georgia. Removed from the hustle and bustle, this cabin was filled with amenities and space. Whether traveling from Blue Ridge or Dahlonega, roads were great and the fall color and views were very nice. Great place to relax and truly get away - hot tub, pool table, stargazing was exceptional and the Milky Way is right above. Everything in this cabin works. Large deck overlooking the Toccoa River - fire pits on the river's edge and easy access for fishing/walking along the river.
Amazing Cabin! Beautiful, spacious, clean and the most important the relaxation and tranquility that our family was looking for!
Everyone in Our family enjoyed every single detail, how the views from the balcony were in the morning, the peaceful sounds at nights, the smells, and the most important that we all felt as we were at home! We spent such a quality time, the board games were really helpful and the river on the back was so beautiful and we had a lot of fun there.
Definitely the only part that we had a really hard time was that our trip was over and that we had to leave :(
Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates nature and wants to experience relaxation.
The owner was very helpful and friendly! Had a great experience, looking forward to return.
This was a wonderful cabin to stay in for a great vacation. Even with people renting the connecting cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of privacy and space for all cabin renters. The cabin had more supplies than any place we've ever rented before, which was really handy for the few things we forgot to bring with us. We had 8 people in the cabin, and it was really comfortable. All the amenities were top-notch, and we would rent this place again in a heartbeat. The only thing we'd advise is to make sure to get directions to the cabin. The owners offered them to us, but we thought our GPS would handle the GPS address just fine. It turned out that we would have arrived a lot sooner had we gotten the directions that the owners offered to supply to us. It's a clean, well-maintained cabin. The beds are comfortable, and the description of each room and the cabin itself were true to form. The upstairs had bunk beds, and then there was a bedroom with a King bed and there was a bathroom for all the people upstairs to share. The first floor had a queen bedroom that has a connecting bathroom to that bedroom and the kitchen. The downstairs had a bedroom with a double bed, and there was a bathroom separate that anyone could utilize. We wanted a private bathroom for one of the couples going, so they stayed on the main floor with the queen bed and simply locked the bathroom door to the kitchen so that it was not accessible to all the children. Worked great for everyone. The views are amazing. Do take some hammocks, floats for the river, and the ingredients for smores. You'll have a family time that you won't soon forget. We also drove to Helen, GA, from this cabin to enjoy a day of fun. It was an easy drive in terms of traffic and scenery, and we had a great time doing the zip line course, ropes course, tubing on the river, and eating some great food. This cabin is the best of both worlds, entertainment and a private get-away. You won't go wrong staying here, and we would recommend this place to any of our family or friends. Lastly, the owners are incredible. They gave us great information and were helpful with any questions we asked. To them, we say thank you for sharing your home with us for a great 2016 Memorial Day get-away!
The cabin was amazing we enjoyed the hot tub with the noise of the creek flowing in the back ground we enjoyed everything about the cabin and are looking forward to another stay
Very nice cabin enjoyed the stay every minute
We were so happy with our stay! My husband, 2 kids, friend, father-in -law, brother-in-law and niece had the most wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer. The cabin and property was absolutely perfect! The pictures did not do it justice! We had the best time enjoying the crisp fall air, seeing the beautiful autumn leaves, making s'mores over a fire, relaxing in front of the fire place. The cabin was clean, well taken care of with beautiful decor. The river was so peaceful to listen to while sitting by the fire pits! We saw deer one morning while sitting on the balcony drinking coffee. Very close to the swinging bridge and a hike to a beautiful waterfall. Robert was very helpful and gave great tips and info prior to our stay. I highly recommend this cabin and will definitely go back. Can't say enough about this cabin and our stay!!! We made wonderful memories and had a great time with our family.
