Cute little cabin in the woods.

  • 4 of 5

I really wanted to stay at Lodge at the Falls so this was second choice. So glad. This place was great and away from the crowds. Only bad thing was no AC so it was hot during the day but cooled off nicely at night. Good location and not fancy but had everything we needed.

Old cabin with no Air conditioning.

  • 2 of 5

It was one of the most expensive cabin, so I thought that I will be in good place to stay in. Unfortunately, The cabin was old, build from many years ago. The furniture were so old and dirty, also It didn't have air conditioning. We stayed there in July, and the weather was hot at noon.

I think that I spent more money for this cabin than it should be.

Great location, needs some TLC

  • 3 of 5

This is a cute little cabin in a great location. It was generally clean and tidy but definitely needs a deep clean (especially the windows and carpet). A fan needs to be installed in the bathroom as it looks like moldy caulking and grout is a constant problem. ALL of the windows should be replaced--they look like the originals--as many are difficult to open and close tightly. Plus they are single pane. A previous reviewer visited in the winter and said they were cold the entire visit. In addition, they were filthy, as were the very old dusty window coverings. The carpet is DIRTY and actually should be replaced with hardwood which would be easier to maintain (it's been a long time since furniture was moved and the carpet vacuumed behind it), especially in the small bedrooms. The kitchen cabinets have decades of sticky grime. The pillows need replacing--no protectors under the pillowcases and were stained. Ugh! Lately, a couple of the lamps are falling apart and need to be replaced or fixed. All of this was disappointing considering the price we paid per night. We realize the pricing is all about the location and time of year, but nothing should be dirty at that price. Maybe I am a little picky, but I honestly would not have guests in a house in that condition. That said, it was just the right size for four people, is in a great location, had everything we needed and has a very nice deck and grill. The sheets and towels were good quality. We were there to hike in the park so did not spend a lot of time there. I would really look more closely before renting a bronze-rated property from the Redwoods in Yosemite again.
