Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Could there be too much fluffy white powder?
A convenient location. A nice place to stay, with many extras.
This is the perfect location across from Giant Steps, but the downstairs bed is extremely uncomfortable and the downstairs tub squeaks the entire time you are taking a shower. The condo was not cleaned properly for our stay and we arrived 3 hours past check-in. Very disappointing.
Very cool. Vacation rental, that is easy access to the ski lifts.
Great location for summer or winter. Can't beat the location and the spaciousness of the condo.
Condo itself looks nice. That being said .Hot tub stayed cold the entire time. Maintenance showed up a day and a half later(he smelt like smoke and very sketchy)said he fixed it AND DID NOT! Said he would check back a few hours later HE DID NOT! TWO DAYS WAISTED ON HIM. He drove a maroon truck and said his name was jess I believe, although vacasa said his name was Seth! hmm someone's lying. Anyway, I made it up to my family be sending them to a spa. I complained several times to vacasa and nobody ever returned my call the next day. Hannah was the only helpful person from Vacasa. Beds are soo uncomfortable, upstairs TVs work on certain channels. Other than that we made the best of it and had a fun time snowboarding! You have been warned!
We have used VRBO about 6 or 7 times during the past 5 years. We have had great experiences and not so great experiences. But I must say without a doubt that this was the WORST property we have ever experienced. Where to begin? Let's start with the getting into the condo. There is no remote for the garage so every time you leave or arrive you need to go inside to the building to open the garage door. Makes no sense. Then the front door is a story unto itself. The owners admit it is tricky and high end. NOt exactly. It just doesn't work period. Impossible to lock. As for the condo, the TV is too high and the windows are floor to ceiling so you cannot watch TV during daylight and at night you crane your neck. The garbage compactor does not compact. The hot tub does not heat up. The shower blasts water pellets at you but you can't enough water to properly wash and rinse. The beds have a huge gulf in the middle. The upstairs queen has a frame for a king. Instead of buying a king the owners stick you with a queen so you have to maneuver around the ledge getting in and out of bed. There is no soap anywhere so bring your own.
The kicker to all of these issues is that you can never get anyone on the phone. I don't think a real person exists on the other end. You just keep getting a recording.
We learned our lesson and will never use a company owned property again.
Please do yourself a favor. Do not use VACASA and do not stay at this condo.
