'ROMAINFIORE Apartment' is in the centrally located district of APPIO-SAN GIOVANNI, close to the historical centre of Rome. Our apartment is in very high demand because it offers the advantage of close vicinity to ‘METRO A’ (subway Line A), the faster and simpler means of moving around Rome. The nearest subway station is ‘Colli Albani’, a stop on the convenient Metro A only 2-3 minutes of walk from the apartment.

WHICH TOURIST ATTRACTIONS CAN WE REACH FROM THE SUBWAY? With the apartment already located in a central position, the whole historical center is only a stone’s throw away. You will easily reach the Basilica of St. John Lateran (4 stops, 8 minutes), Viale Manzoni (Coliseum area, 5 stops, 9/10 minutes) and then Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (Esquilino), Termini Station, Via Nazionale, Via Cavour, Via Veneto, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo (Villa Borghese), Via del Corso, Saint Peter Square, the Vatican Museums. Metro A (subway Line A) intersects with Metro B (subway Line B) at the Termini train station, from which you can easily travel to the Colosseum (il Colosseo), the Imperial Fora (I Fori Imperiali), the Circus Maximus (il Circo Massimo) and the Baths of Caracalla (le Terme di Caracalla).
ARE THERE ALTERNATIVES MEANS OF TRAVEL ASIDE FROM THE SUBWAY? Yes. Near the apartment there are numerous bus lines that provide an alternative to the subway. Among these is bus line 85 with a stop 40 meters from the apartment. This bus line runs regularly and serves the entire historical center. On bus line 85 you can directly reach the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Coliseum, the Campidoglio, Via del Corso, Trevi Fountain and Stazione Termini.
YOU CAN WALK TO THE PLACES OF TOURIST INTEREST? Yes, for example the famous Appia Antica Archaeological Park is within walking distance (or with bus n. 660) crossing the Caffarella Park whose entrance is located 5 minute of walk from the apartment. The Appia Antica park, major tourist destination, is very visited because of the presence of the Catacombs of Domitilla, San Callisto, San Sebastiano and the many archaeological finds, including the mausoleums of Cecilia Metella and the original road paving of Ancient Rome.
WILL YOU GIVE US SUGGESTIONS AND DIRECTIONS? Yes. Before your arrival you will receive precious advice with regards to public transport, how to reduce the costs of museum visits, and how to avoid the very long lines at the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. Our guests have very much appreciated the utility of this information. In the apartment you will find further suggestions, and a tourist guidebook that we will lend to you with pleasure.
IS THE APARTMENT IN A QUIET AREA? Yes. The apartment is situated off a main road, in a quiet street with little traffic. In addition, the apartment is equipped with double-glazed windows.
ON WICH FLOOR IS THE APARTMENT LOCATED? The apartment is on the 3th floor of a well-maintained condominium. There is a lift.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE APARTMENT PLAN? The apartment contains a bright and very well equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with a queen sized sofa, a quiet bedroom and a spacious bathroom with a shower. Balcony. Air conditioning. Parquet.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE APARTMENT ACCOMMODATE? The inside of the apartment is 60 square meters and can comfortably accommodate 6 adults.
DO WE NEED TO BRING TOWELS AND SHEETS?
No. We will provide you bed sheets, large bath towels, hand towels and face towels. We emphasise that the sheets and towels are professionally washed at 90°C.
DOES THE APARTMENT COME WITH THE INTERNET? We offer a free and reliable Wi-Fi connection and unlimited data usage.
IS THE KITCHEN WELL EQUIPPED? The kitchen is equipped with everything. Pots, pans, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, mixer, various accessories, plates, glasses and plenty of cutlery.
ARE THERE RE THERE GROCERY STORES NEAR THE APARTMENT? The neighbourhood has plenty of supermarkets. Close to the apartment you will find every type of store (bakeries, delicatessens, fish markets, butchers, pastry shops, rotisseries, ice-cream stores, etc.) and a typical local market with fresh meat and fish, and above all locally produced fruit and vegetables.
ARE THERE RESTAURANTS AND PIZZERIAS IN THE AREA? Yes, the neighbourhood of Appio Latino has many restaurants, excellent typical ‘trattorie’ and pizzerias. We will be able to advise you of the best places for quality and price.
CAN WE ARRANGE TO BE PICKED UP? Yes, it is a service that is very much appreciated by our guests and one that we offer willingly around business hours. We can provide the pick-up services without charge from Ciampino Airport to the apartment. As the Fiumicino (“Leonardo da Vinci”) Airport is approximately 35km from the apartment, we kindly request reimbursement of expenses should you wish to be picked up from there. Providing that it is outside of business hours, we may also be able to accompany you back to your point of departure.
ARRIVING BY CAR: IS VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ALLOWED IN THE STREET OF THE APARTMENT? Yes, the apartment is located outside of the “ZTL”, the restricted traffic zone.
CAN I PARK IN THE STREET OF THE APARTMENT? Yes, parking in the street of the apartment is free and available to everyone.
IS THE NEIGHBOURHOOD SAFE? Yes. The district of Appio-San Giovanni is very safe.
CAN YOU CONFIRM THE PRICE? The price varies in line with the season and the number of guests. The rental price includes all utilities (electricity, gas, heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi). The rental price includes the flat rate contribution for the final cleaning of the apartment and for the washing of sheets and towels.
