Amazing house, pool and garden in a brilliant location.
We (three families) have recently had the pleasure of spending two weeks in this great house. The pictures really do not do it justice, the lovely couple who own the property have thought of everything when they converted this old post office. The house itself was spotless when we arrived and it has everything you would need for your stay. It was very hot during our stay so the outside kitchen was a joy and the pool and gardens were amazing. The house is situated in the centre of the village of Connaux, although small it had everything you would need including two bakeries, two butchers, a fruit and veg shop, small supermarket, pharmacy, and a cash point. Larger supermarkets were only a 10 minutes drive. There was also a small bar and some restaurants which were very accommodating as we were a large group. The house was a great base from which to explore the area. Avignon, Nemes, Uzes and Orange were all close and well worth a visit. Pont du Gard is only a 15 minute drive and the kayaking trip down the river was great fun. There were lots of small wine producers near by so a great opportunity to sample local wines. Also worth researching are local antique markets.
I could not recommend this property highly enough, it was perfect for a large group and the owners were incredibly helpful.
