(Text automatically translated) With bright and comfortable rooms, all overlooking the sea, the house is characterized by wide terraces overlooking the wonderful gulf of Capo Zafferano. The villa has a private access to a beach of sand and pebbles. Here you can relax in the tranquility of the area, but also devote to walks naturalistic, cultural and gastronomic. We are in fact, at the foot of the Natural Reserve of Monte Catalfano and the archaeological site of Soluntum, around Bagheria, a town renowned for its numerous villas and museum in Baroque style, including the one that houses the collection of Guttuso. At about 20 km, Palermo, the capital of classical and baroque art, easily accessible by car (A19) and by train (station of Santa Flavia and Bagheria).

Why Paola Cosentino chose Santa Flavia
This is a family home, built by my grandparents in 1965.Insieme to them and to my family spent every summer here, from my birth until adolescence and then more sporadically until you get to manage it as a holiday home. The most beautiful memories of my childhood are tied to this house and it makes me happy the idea and the opportunity to share it with other people who can appreciate it and love it as I do! The villa has two apartments and is spread over two floors, fully independent, beyond the garden with access to the sea and the entrance plaza. What you see in the pictures and advertised on this site are top quality, but at the level of the entrance plaza. The lower floor is in fact sfalzato and not visible from the entrance of the house. It 'owned by my uncle, who lives with his family, occasionally on weekends and mainly in the summer months, renting it to a family routine during the month of August. The entrance plaza is not possible to park more than 2 cars in the periods in which there are other guests in the lower level and up to 4 (compatible with the dimensions) in other periods.

LOVE THIS PLACE!
This villa is just wonderful! It is very well located on a beautiful cove, and is well equipped with everything. It is spacious, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The wifi works very well. The outside it is even better. It has parking, gorgeous gardens in front, and the back of the house has a great terrace with fruit orchards below and magnificent views of the sea and Capo Zaferano.
The location is perfect. It is secluded and very quiet at night. It is right on the beach with good restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance in the fishing villages of Porticello and Saint Elia. It is only s short ride to the Bagueria where there are wonderful baroque villas to visit and very good restaurants as well. Going to Palermo is very easy. You can leave the car at the Bagueria train station, which is a five minute drive from the house, and you will be in Palermo in 20 minutes by train.
Paola is absolutely the BEST HOSTESS EVER! She greeted us with with Sicilian food and pastries. She is very kind, communicative, and leaves her guests with regional maps and lots of good information on places to eat, shop, and visit in the area.
My overall impression of Paola's villa is very positive. The only sad part was leaving :(
Thanks for everything, Paola! I hope to see you someday soon.
"This large, comfortable ...
"This large, comfortable villa is in an idyllic setting - on a cove with Capo Zafferano looming to the west. The property has expansive terraces above a small lemon grove, and private access to a pebbly beach. The place feels more like someone''s second home than a dedicated rental property. The kitchen is well provisioned. Furnishings are modest compared to the luxurious proportions and setting of the villa itself, but comfortable.
Access to Palermo and other local sites is easy. The Santa Flavia train station is about a 5-7 minute drive; Soluntum is even closer. We found a decent local supermarket and a great green grocer in Porticello about 1 km away. Parking at the villa is easy, thanks to a large parking lot across the street from the property.
Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, providing a map highlighting nearby restaurants and other businesses. We thank them for a wonderful stay."
A very beautiful house di...
A very beautiful house directly on the sea with a great and perfectly cured garden. During the day the beach gets quite crowded, so morning and evenings are the best time for enjoying the sea. The car is essential for visiting the many wonderful locations around (from Palermo and Monreale on one side to Bagheria and Caccamo on the other). Paola has been a very nice and welcoming host.
Building perfect. Paola extremely helpful and very friendly.
And the direct approach to the beach was great .. and necessary, because it‘s almost impossible to get to the beach on a public path.
Gut gepflegtes Haus an wunderbarer Lage
Es ist wie nach hause kommen, nur viel schöner. Paola sorgte wunderbar für uns.
(Text automatically translated) From Palermo, take the A19 highway towards Catania for about 19 km, Casteldaccia exit and follow the signs for the SS 113 in the direction Bagheria, past the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele Orlando (on the left is a level crossing ) and after 100 m turn right on Via Erasmo Sparacino. Continue straight until you reach the coastal road. (Text automatically translated) The area has many restaurants and trattorias, where you can enjoy fresh local seafood. Among them: "The Lighthouse Green" in Porticello, in Bagheria, the restaurant "The Puppet" with its refined cuisine and excellent restaurant "Don Ciccio", with dishes from the most ancient Sicilian tradition. While, if you wanted to move out of Palermo, for a kitchen to a great extent I would definitely recommend the "Bell'Otero", "the Eighth note", "Gadir", "The Roof" (within the Central Palce Hotel) "Bye Bye Blues", with good food, but above all a magnificent setting of the restaurant there is also the GAM, the Gallery of Modern Art.
