Beautiful and cozy home, convenient - IDEAL!
We had a wonderful experience in this beautiful home so near to Killorglin and the beauty of the Ring of Kerry and Dingle. Breeda is a wonderful hostess! I am recommending her place to all my friends!
Thank you Rodney for your lovely comments. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful scenery in Kerry!
Charming home that exceeds expectations
My family of 4, including two teenage boys, stayed at the end of July and it was lovely! The house is WAY bigger than expected! It’s a full two-story home with a family/living room in the front and a large kitchen/dining/sitting area in the back of the main level. Although it was a family vacation, it was nice to have some space to spread out and not be on top of each other while cooking. There were plenty of dishes and cooking supplies and some staples in the pantry. We packed light so I loved having not only a washer, but also a dryer (and it didn’t shrink our stuff...lol). With three bedrooms upstairs everyone had their own and two bathrooms let us get around quickly for our busy days. The windows that open in every room allowed in a nice breeze and I LOVED the blackout shades! I had no idea it stayed light so long in Ireland! The back garden was beautiful and we played cards out there one night with sheep right behind us. So nice! Oh, and somehow we never smelled the sheep or horses, which was a nice surprise!
Breeda was amazing to work with and so nice! She answered every silly little question I had before the trip quickly and without making me feel I was a bother. I wasn’t thrilled about an in-person check-in (bad previous experience), but Breeda was great! She greeted us like a friend, was efficient and, honestly, explained the house better than a binder could have. I wish all in-person check-ins were that smooth.
Our only regret is that we were only here two days! It is a perfect home and a base for exploring so much beauty in the area. Book this property now...you won’t regret it!
Thank you Heather for your very kind comments. It was a pleasure to have you and your family stay in Killorglin! You’re welcome to come back at any time to explore the surrounding areas a little more. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay .. kind regards, Breeda
We wanted to find a place to stay off the beaten path. The house was fabulous and Breeda was a joy to work with.
Immaculate home centrally located
We had a wonderful stay in this very clean and well cared for home. It is in a nice quiet cul de sac but easy access to the main roads to Dingle, Killarney or a trip to Portmagee for the Skellig Islands. Breeda gave us a warm welcome and the home has every convenience. We loved having the washer and dryer, which worked well. The large kitchen allowed us to make many meals and there is an Aldi's less than 5 minutes away. The living room had very comfortable couches and was a great place to gather in the evenings. Thank you for a wonderful stay, wish it could have been longer!
Thank you Alison for your very kind comments. It was a pleasure to have you and your family stay in our home.
I’m sure you experienced all the amazing views in south Kerry... especially on your trip to the Skellig islands!
You’re welcome to come and stay again at any time!
A wonderfull week in Killorglin, Kerry
We were met by Breeda, a very nice hostess. She showed us the house and gave us good advice about the house and area. We had great expectations about the house and we were not disappointed. We also enjoyed looking at the cattle, sheep and horses right behind the garden.
We spent a week touring the Ring of Kerry and Skellig and were very lucky with the weather. The scenery in Kerry is very beautifull og Killorglin is an ideal place to tour from.
We highly recomend Breeda's house and the area. We hope to be back. Many thanks to Breeda. Kind regards/ Beth and Jens Erik
