Spectacular heated pool/spa area, ample parking & just a short walk to the beach

This wonderful 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom property is way more than just a place to eat and sleep. It is one half of an elevated duplex in the heart of Holmes Beach. The duplex is offset so the two units are not totally side by side offering more privacy. The living area is a comfortable 1050 square feet which is much bigger when you take into consideration the screened and covered front porch and open deck. They are all on the same level and wrap around from the front door on the side to the sliding glass doors in the front.

The living room, kitchen, dining area, hallway and guest bathroom have Mexican tile which is cool to the feet. The living room has a large flat screen TV which is one of four. The other TVs are in both bedrooms and the outdoor room which can been seen from the spa and pool. The white denim furniture is comfortable and the sofa has a pull-out sleeper.

The dining area is fun in a Florida Funky way. It has seating for six with different colored chairs with a large white table. The kitchen is open with off white appliances. There is a food pantry with sliding shelves. The refrigerator has a filter and dispenses water and ice through the door. The kitchen is well appointed with everything one needs to cook a meal.

The master bedroom has all new furniture. The king size bed is fit for a king and queen. Look out the window and there is a great view of the pool and the royal palms. The closet has a has additional drawers, shelves and plenty of area to hang clothes. The master bath has been totally remodeled with a natural slate and has a rain shower with glass shower doors.

The guest bedroom has two twin beds. It is close to the guest bathroom which has a tub/shower combination.

The pool area is resort quality and is a great place for family and friends. The pool is heated and has a hot tub in the middle section of the pool with room for six. There is a lovely mermaid nearby watching out for all. The wood deck surrounds the pool and is at the same height from the pool all the way to the outdoor room leaving plenty of choices for you to lounge the day away. The royal palms are stately and give a tropical feel to the area.

The outdoor room has a custom tiki bar that comfortably seats four and has a convenient refrigerator for beverages. There is a wall mounted TV which can be seen from many areas of the deck and pool. The balance of the lower area is a storage room which has an automatic garage door with room for a gulf cart or a couple of scooters. There is still plenty of room for beach gear bikes.

Parking is not a problem here. In addition to the golf cart garage there is off street parking for four cars.

Anna Maria Island is close to our hearts and we are very fortunate to have many fond memories of the time we have spent there. We particularly enjoy the laid back lifestyle and all this unique island has to offer. Not to worry about us, we still visit this island as often as our busy life permits.

Why Jeff Kenrick chose Anna Maria Island

This is the first property we ever purchased back in 1988. We have bought and sold many others on the island but this is the one we have always kept. The location is the perfect combination of convenience and privacy and has been the home to many happy tenants. We recently decided to convert one half of the duplex to a vacation rental. We have spared no expense in putting in the heated pool/spa and surrounding deck. We also have converted some of the storage area to a fantastic outdoor room.

What makes this house unique

Visitors come to the island to enjoy the weather and numerous outdoor activities. Your accommodations should enhance the experience. Our property does just that. We have a state of the art heated pool and hot tub surrounded by over 800 square feet of wood decking. Just off the deck area is a 250 square feet out door room that is can be used for many activities. We have a screened and covered front porch which is ideal for 'bug-free' people watching as they parade to and from the beach. There is also an elevated open deck great for grilling or just lounging.

The new pool is heated and has an oval shaped hot tub that will seat five people. One end of the pool has a sun shelf great for basking in the sun. The other end has a bench with a cocktail table perfect for enjoying your favorite beverage. The pool curves around the home and is surrounded by beautiful Royal Palm trees giving it a tropical feel. You will find that there is always some sunny areas and some shaded areas no matter the time of day.

Parking on the island can be a challenge in many areas. Gulf carts have become more and more popular and many rental shops rent them. We have added a garage with an automatic garage door opener with room for a gulf cart or a couple of scooters. In addition, there is covered parking for two vehicles and room in the concrete driveway for two more.

Rent both sides!

Families and or friends can enjoy each other on a vacation and still have the luxury of their own space. Imagine, two master bedrooms, two guest bedrooms, four bathrooms, two full kitchens, two pool areas all with ample off street parking.

Fantastic Place! Great Owners...

My family rented both sides of this unit for the past week. This rental is fantastic and is just what is advertised! We loved the pool and the outdoor area, the pool is shaded and warm for those really sunny days! The condo itself was very clean and well stocked with good quality items you will need. The short walk to the beach was very easy and the island has some great places to eat. If you want to eat in there are three Publix stores within about 7 miles of the house. We went to the Pier, Sand Bar, Beach House and Waterfront restaurants, all were very good. My daughter enjoyed making her own doughnuts at the doughnut experience. We also had our son who is 16 months, there are several rental places on the island that rent baby items like high chairs and cribs making it very easy. I cant say enough good things about this rental and the island we will go back for sure. The owners are very nice and helpful, they even called me to check and make sure everything was what we expected and to ask if we needed anything. If I could rate this higher than a 5 I would, if you are looking for a great place to stay on AMI, you found it here! Many thanks to the owners. Hopefully we will talk to you again next year!

Your own private resort!

Paradise Palms has everything you need to escape from reality. The pool with the LED colored lights, the hot tub, the pool shelf with umbrella, the opposite end of the pool with the swim up "bar", the covered area under the house to escape the sun with dining table, bar and TV, the screened porch on the front of the house, the gas grill and deck are all perfection! The inside of the house is nice too but we did not spend much time inside at all. The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook (we used it several times) and also tons of great restaurants to enjoy. There is only a very short walk to the beach to watch the amazing sunsets. Take advantage of the Monkey Bus! A FREE taxi/bus that picks you up and takes you where ever you like for tips only. The owners are very quick with their response time if you have any questions or issues. We are only 3 days home and trying to figure out when we can return. I think that says it all!!!!

Awesome vacation

Anna Maria Island is an awesome location to enjoy a relaxing vacation. And this property was a great place to stay.

Located conveniently near the beach (5 mins) the property provides all the luxuries needed for an awesome vacation while maintaining the cottage experience. The owners have provided all of the necessities for a beach vacation which means all you need to do is arrive with food and clothing.

The backyard is set up for relaxation and being from Canada I enjoyed watching hockey every night from the hot tub. The living area was cozy and clean with all modern conveniences with a beach cottage feel.

I highly recommend this area to vacation and if you are looking for a place that has everything at an exceptional value then this is the place. We can't wait to return. Cheers.

Another Winter in Paradise

I was lucky enough to spend 2 months in this duplex, my second winter on AMI. It is a fantastic unit with close proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and the free trolley service. The owners are so easy to work with and respond quickly, whether to a question or a problem that needs a repair. The pool is a little piece of heaven and the tiki bar is a favorite of mine and all my friends who visit.

Are family of 4 spent a fantastic two weeks at this house. Greate location, very close to the beautiful beach. House is very clean and comfortable. The pool, spa and tiki bar are absolutely fantastic. The owners were good to work with . We would recommend staying here to anyone. We will be back here again!!!
