About the property

Casita/loft Style In A 5 Acre Horse Property With Mountain Views

Loft style Casita. Gated entrance in a 5 acre horse property. There is no bedrooms as I mentioned it is loft style, but it feels open and spacious. Great for some one who spends more time outdoors or maybe just looking for just enough room and not so much cleaning. The set up is crisp and clean. The laundry is located in the tack room. You will have great views of the Superstition mountains. This is a great option versus the subdivision place.

About Kim Williamson

Hello! I have this Casita on my horse property, owner/build in 2007. Queen Creek/ San Tan Valley has been my home town since 1997, there has been a lot of growth since then; but the country flair still remains. I own 4 horses and have a roping arena where I get to enjoy what was my previous career a professional Rodeo athlete.

Kim Williamson purchased this chateau / country house in 2007

Why Kim Williamson chose San Tan Valley

you can step out front and you might enjoy some team roping

What makes this chateau / country house unique

its quiet, you won't have the traffic you would normally have if you chose a subdivision home

What a cute nicely put together, tastefully decorated, quiet interesting little Casita. I Loved it.

Kim is awesome and easy to deal with. The animals, including the horses, cows and doggies are fun. It doesn't smell and everything is so clean and the arena is far enuf away from the house for no fly problems and smells. Fun to watch them train and rope and the watch the blue healer MK chase the cattle. Its out in the country and well worth it!!!!!!!!!!! Very comfortable and you are left alone, Granite counter tops,,,,nice big closet and storage room,,,Tile and glass shower,,,,its just great!!!!!

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This Casita was recently built, and is very well furnished. It is located in a semi-rural location on approx. five acres with security gate. It includes a roping arena and pastures inhabited by the owners horses, roping steers and 3 cool dogs (MK, Tex and Cutie). We are pleased to say that Kim and Marlen were the best Hosts that we could possibly have hoped for. It is very well located with easy access for all of the events and venues that people like to visit in the east valley. All services are also easily accessed.

I very enthusiastically recommend this property.

Home on the Range!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was a little out of the ordinary with several friendly dogs (miss you Tex!) and horses on the property. Kim, the owner and a world class roper, and her partner are perfect hosts- friendly and helpful and it was fun to watch Kim practice roping. The guesthouse is large and comfortable, with really nice furniture, a comfy bed, a good kitchen, a great shower, and handy laundry. The grounds are kept neat and super clean. The only negative for us was the lack of Wifi. We planned on using our data connection, but had problems with that depending on time of day, etc. Local grocery shopping (Fry's) was about ten minutes away, with even more shopping (Target, Kohl's etc.) about twenty minutes away.

The location is a little remote but we used it as a home base to travel to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, the Casa Grande Ruins and Tucson. Closer in are a number of lakes, Boyce Arboretum, the Goldfield Ghost Town, Tortilla Flat, and shopping and events in Mesa, Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Overall, the casita is a great bargain and the hosts make it a great stay!
