Complex is a little beat up. Condo was nice, hot tub terrific, as a ground floor unit is doesn't get a lot of light. Totally walkable to the village. The condo was as advertised. We rented others like this however that had a more homey feel. This one had limited extras and felt a lot like a hotel room. It is also hard to access from the parking garage so had to double park to unload. Overall, we didn't love it, we didn't hate it. Just didn't really blow the family's hair back.
We were a bit disappointed because someone typed our dates in wrong - 03/02/16 to 06/02/16 instead of 03/02/17 - 06/02/17. So after booking about 6 months prior to our arrival someone put in the wrong dates. When we rang after receiving our confirmation of the wrong dates we were told that the place we had booked was already occupied because of the wrong dates being put in and they would fix it and we would get the same standard or better. When they rang us on the morning of our arrival it turned out that we had 2 nights at one place then 1 night at the place we had booked all along. The first place was grubby, the sofa bed did not work, and the fireplace did not work. There was 4 of us so very inconvenient. The place we had for the last night was where we were supposed to be for the whole time and was very nice, with everything working properly and very clean. We were told by one of the staff that if it was another company they would have cancelled our booking and left us stranded, which we thought was a bit unprofessional because it wasn't our fault. All in all Whistler was an experience we will never forget. It was so beautiful. Something we have never seen before and recommend everyone to experience this at least once. At least we were refunded for 1 night which was much appreciated.
Perfect for our needs. Great access to village and highway. Parking can be a bit tight and it isn't the quietest place I have stayed as there seems to be a high turnover of weekends parties and stagettes. The appliances, AC and hot tub were all in great working order. This was the ideal place for us traveling with a child. The opportunity to bring our fury friend was also perfect.
Property is very neat and clean in a great location. It's a little on and small side. The only downside is that hottub does not have a roof over it so when it rain you cant really use it.
This place is cozy - but very serviceable for 2-4 people. It was very clean. Hot tub is maintained nicely. Beds comfortable. Easy access to marketplace and the shuttle stop is right across the street. Quiet. Sufficient kitchen utensils. Garage parking convenient but a very tight space.
Bath towels were small and thin. Fry pans were horrible and I would be afraid to use them. Internet would periodically stop for no apparent reason. Unit is ready for an update.
We stayed at this property for three nights. we are a family of four. Two adults and children aged 7 and 11 months. The master bedroom was a great size to accommodate a playpen. The location is great for the kids because the Whistler snow Zone is just across the street. The kitchen was well stocked and the unit was clean. Being a rental, the unit is showing signs of wear and tear but nothing to be of concern. We took full advantage of the private hot tub and all the things that this excellent location had to offer. The only downside was the pool was closed for maintenance and the accessibility with a stroller could be challenging at times. Also if you have an oversized vehicle parking in the complex is very challenging. I was informed of this before our trip so it was of no surprise. We will definitely consider this unit again the next time we go to Whistler.
This 2 bedroom townhome is located just across the street from Village North shops, restaurants, childrens play area and Olympic Plaza (free public skating throughout Winter).
The Valley trail, parks, lakes and Mountian lifts are within close access. You can walk to both Whistler Village Base (Whistler and Blackcomb Gondolas) and Blackcomb Base in less than 10 minute OR take the free Village shuttle located on Lorimer Road just outside of Glacier's Reach which runs very frequently throughout the Winter.
Lost Lake can be accessed following the Valley Trail just outside of Glacier's Reach, it will take aprox. 20 mins to walk and is beautiful in Summer and Winter.
There is a children's playground located on the Village stroll, across the street just behind the shopping center (less than 1 minute walk).
