Tammi and Dave Clancy-owners (remodeling and building team) of two other successful and popular vacation rentals in Taos/Arroyo Seco, New Mexico-are thrilled to list their newest addition to their vacation rental properties. Three is the MAGIC number and we decided to name this THIRD vacation rental property of ours for our blessings. Vida Divina, Divine Life, is what we are blessed with and live each day we walk this earth.

We will book one/two nights if it fits with our calendar for flexible/adjusted pricing-especially last-minute. The longer you stay-the more the booking rate is discounted. We do have a cancellation policy-please ask about it.

Vida Divina is a townhome right off of Camino de Placitas. Just a mere three-block walk to the John Dunne Shops and The Plaza and just a few minutes away to the myriad, delectable eateries, eclectic galleries/shops, and spirited, cozy bars. There is LIVE music seven-days a week...all for YOUR listening pleasure--an easy walk away--and, a refreshing walk returning home to Vida Divina-where you can light your fire in the dazzling kiva with the wood provided for you by the Clancys. A blaze of good cheer and deep warmth await your every arrival.

Vida Divina has two bedrooms and 1 and a half bathrooms. There is a KING bed in one bedroom and a QUEEN bed in the second bedroom. Remodeled and redecorated Vida Divina awaits you with an open living space. Upstairs with a new wood floor and cozy bedrooms and an large, tiled shower with glass doors..downstairs with a kitchen has a new sink and new stainless steel appliances and a deck with new fencing and a new outdoor grill.

Dog/Pet Fee-$50 for a three-night booking per dog and for more nights-$15.00 per night/per dog-$95 for a week's booking (Will discount for two dogs depending upon length of stay.) Small back yard/fenced in.

We require payment in full to hold your booking unless your total is over $1000 and more than three months out. If you need to split payments, just ask.

About Tammi or Dave Clancy

Dave and Tammi Clancy started their vacation rental business by pure serendipitous suggestion in 2007. Since the purchase of their first home-renovated and ready for vacationers in the Spring of 2007..they have designed and built another-Casita Ave Maria-making it available for others to enjoy in the Summer of 2010-and, now with the Fall 2014 purchase of Vida Divina and current remodeling...Three denotes divine perfection--We’ve all heard people say that “things happen in 3’s.” Also, on a side-note-this is Tammi's 33rd year of teaching--this year of 3's has been DIVINE!

Dave is a retired realtor-masonry foreman from Colorado Springs, designer-builder, handyman of all flavors and colors. A true life-artist- he now maintains our three vacation rentals and is ALWAYS-- in myriad ways--creating a new project to add more beauty/luxury to our homes.

More on THREE: In the Christian faith tradition, the number 3, symbolized by the Trinity (Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer), has come to mean wholeness. The 3 attributes of God are omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. It is said that the number 3 is used 523 times in Scripture!

It is a DIVINE LIFE at VIDA DIVINA in TAOS, NEW MEXICO! Dave and Tammi Clancy's newest, third addition to their successful and much loved vacation homes-will be ready to host, nurture, and enchant you beginning Thanksgiving of 2014. Our other two properties are in the foothills (fabulous views) between town and Taos Ski Valley. Often, through the years, people have asked if they can 'walk' to places from our homes. The answer has always been YES..but, to specific places in town...the answer is NOW yes, again. Walk to all places in the town of Taos..in mere minutes..soaking in the ambiance of ancient peoples and modern doings. And, just a 25-30 minute drive to the ski area from Vida Divina while also having the convenience of being to walk all over town for eating, drinking and being merry when you return home from skiing or hiking or general seeing of the glorious sights. Remember, this is IN the town of Taos--so, there is the traffic noise from cars going 20-25 miles per hour in the very small town of Taos.

Perfect location, awesome place to stay.

Not only is this place exactly as advertised, it is even better. Great location, we rode our bikes almost everywhere we went in town. This place has been lovingly decorated, gives you that Northern New Mexico vibe that brought you here. It's laid out really well so that even if you have someone crash on the couch, everyone has privacy when they want it. Just perfect.

Excellent place to stay for a Taos adventure

We were in Taos for a regional Bridge Tournament and some biking and hiking.

The townhouse was everything we expected and more:

Southwestern ambiance; tasteful decor; local flavor

Well stocked kitchen

Quiet neighborhood

Relaxing back yard

Perfectly heated inside

Wifi

Appliances that all functioned well

Plenty of wood and an ax to make kindling

Convenient location

Security

Easy access

Like-new washer and dryer

Perfect hosts who communicate well both on-line and in writing.

This property is okay

Vida Divina is comfortable. I did find the lighting somewhat dark and subdued. This however, is not the reason for my two-star rating. As a B&B proprietor, I wouldn't think of asking my guests to strip the sheets off the bed, collect the trash and put it in the dumpster (which is located at the back of the complex) and wash the dishes (put all dishes in dishwasher and start it). These instructions were left on the kitchen table as part of the checkout procedure. My confirmation clearly states the the rate includes all tax and cleaning. My definition of cleaning includes stripping the beds, carrying out trash and doing the dishes. Why am I, as a paying guest, asked to do part of the cleaning? I probably won't be returning here.

Owner's Response: Hello Allie- Great to know that you own a Bed and Breakfast. Vida Divina is not a bed and breakfast and is not advertised as such. It is a vacation rental. Vacation rentals that we have stayed at have similar check-out procedures and that is where we adopted our procedures from for our townhome. Do know that it took four-hours to clean the townhome after you departed--which is normal for a deep cleaning of our townhome. To be expected to wash the dishes you have used as a guest in a vacation rental is normal and to take trash out so that it does not stink-after ones' departure. DIshes and trash pile up quickly if not attended to by guests during a four-night stay such as yours'. The stripping of a bed is not cleaning but sure helps our cleaner get to the deep cleaning faster-and, we surely appreciate all of our guests' willingness to do this over all these years. Bed and breakfasts are bedrooms--this is a fully-stocked and furnished home. Our best to you-The Clancys

Very Comfortable Lodging in Taos

This is a very clean and very well supplied townhouse close to the Taos Plaza and its many restaurants and shops. The owners' communication with renters is timely and spot on.

What a lovely place

We enjoyed every minute of this lovely place. Everything was spotless, and well equipped. The owners even left us a bottle of red wine. The beds were comfortable and airy. We felt very much at home during our travels, and really enjoyed the patio.

$50 Pet fee is min for a min stay. For a longer stay than 3 nights, the pet fee will be recalculated at $15 per night up to a max of $95 for a week's stay for one pet. 2 pets would be more. Will discount for 2 depending upon length of stay.

If you are staying a week or less-we prefer total payment up front. If your total is more than a week's booking and more than two months out--we will take half the payment up front and the other half is due on or before two months of arrival.

Cancellation Fee: If you cancel before three months of arrival-you get your booking $ back MINUS a 20 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 90 days of arrival-you forfeit the amount UNLESS we are able to rebook. Refund will be minus the cancellation fee. We highly recommend traveler's insurance-google for the best companies and rates. We don't travel without it when we prepay for travel and lodging.
