Great for a girls trip!

  • 5 of 5

The house is super cute and fit all 10 of us very well. House was very clean, well stocked with towels, and every kitchen item imaginable. We were able to walk to downtown and the wine tour bus which was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back! Thank you for making our girls/birthday trip one to remember!

Beautiful house with rich history

  • 5 of 5

We chose this house for a girls weekend retreat and it was perfect. It is about 5 blocks from Main Street, so it was a little too far for us to walk since we planned to walk up and down Main Street, but could easily be done if you were in shape to do so. Each room had a theme and you could tell that lots of thought went into decorating. There were 3 bedrooms on the main floor and then 1 small bedroom downstairs in what appeared to be an old cellar. It could have easily slept 9-10 including the sofa bed. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware and was nice since we cooked every evening. The only thing that we found was missing was a mix-master or hand beater when we were trying to make brownies. We looked but could have missed it. It was a little pricey for this time of the year and for only 6 people but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Great place for a college friend reunion

  • 5 of 5

We had such a nice time! We piled all of our friends into the house and cooked big meals together and relaxed and had a great time. We enjoyed the hot tub, we grilled out, and we made a fire in the fire pit for s'mores. It was delightful. We also walked from the house to main street to explore, and it was awesome.

If you're going with a big group, be advised that there is only one bathroom available to everyone, as the other bathroom is inside the master bedroom and you'll have to go through people's private space to get to the bathroom.

Also, it was very cold outside when we went, and the heating system was a little odd-- some rooms were still very cold while others were extremely warm.

Other than that, my friends and I all had a fabulous time!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This house was wonderful!! The owners had the home decorated throughout for Christmas which we loved! The beds slept comfortably and there was also plenty of parking outside!

It was not really walking distance to shopping but a close drive!

Adorable house walking distance to main st

  • 5 of 5

This was perfect for my family and I during our weekend in Fredericksburg. The outdoor jacuzzi was awesome and the house was walking distance to main st (and even less of a walk to the 290 bus pick up.). We had a great time and would definitely stay in this house again!!

Perfect Fredericksburg Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were lucky enough to travel in December so that we got to enjoy all of the beautiful Christmas decorations the owner had chosen for each and every room of this cozy, well-appointed home. Every room had a charming holiday theme.

The house itself is very well situated for a quick trip to the Main Street area in a quiet residential neighborhood. The hot tub is grande, all of the beds are very comfortable and the heater works awesome! Very cozy--well done! We ran out of time during our weekend stay. If we ever go back, we'd book this house again without hesitation.

Fritztown Cinema: Where else can you see a move for $8 anymore ($5 for kids!)?

We love Luckenbach so much we had to give it its own paragraph. Luckenbach, Texas is a small country town with a lot of personality only thirteen miles outside of Fredericksburg. Famous for its authentic southern charm: grab some candy or jerky from the old-fashioned general store, pull up a lawn chair, and listen to some of Texas’ finest banjo and guitar pickers.
