Brad Oehler purchased this house in 2014
This beautiful bungalow was built in the early 1900’s, and boasts turn-of-the-century charm. The house comfortably accommodates ten guests, and includes four bedrooms: the peacock suite, the western suite, the shabby chic suite, and the fleur de lis suite. Our covered front porch is perfect for sipping sweet tea on warm southern nights. On cooler nights, warm up in our hot tub, surrounded by a sprawling English country-style garden. Our guest house is located only a few blocks from Main Street where you can find food, fun, and culture that is just a short stroll away!
Our guest house includes features and amenities such as:
• glass shower
• hard wood floors
• full kitchen with stainless steel appliances
• hot tub
• fire pit
• outdoor flat screen TV (near hot tub)
• granite counters
• walk-in closet
We had 7 adults and 2 children staying here to celebrate our Moms birthday. It was perfect! we especially loved the decor, the fire pit, and the hot tub!
Driving up to the property it was just as cute as the picture showed. Once inside it far exceeded our expectations. It is decorated super cute and slept all of our guests comfortably. It is stocked with anything you could possibly need apart from perishables and consumables. The backyard was super fun for hot tubbing, sitting around the fire pit, and grilling. The owners have thought of everything to make the house comfortable and fun for the renters. It is located close enough to Main Street to walk. Overall excellent experience and definitely recommend this property!
This house is so perfect for a weekend getaway. It was perfectly kept and super clean. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a house close to the heart of Fredericksburg. Thank you for letting us stay!!
Very nice house, only thing is we ran out of toilet paper pretty early in the stay and there was not any more in the house.
LOVE LOVE this place. Everything you could ask for including for the gals, washcloths to remove your make up so you wont spoil the pretty white luscious towels. GREAT thinking on homeowners part.
I picked this home to surprise my family with a getaway trip and it was everything I hoped for and more. Super comfy and the owners are beyond helpful. They are kind, responsive, and truly care about making sure things are perfection. We are already planning for our next stay. Highly recommended.

We love Luckenbach so much we had to give it its own paragraph. Luckenbach, Texas is a small country town with a lot of personality only thirteen miles outside of Fredericksburg. Famous for its authentic southern charm: grab some candy or jerky from the old-fashioned general store, pull up a lawn chair, and listen to some of Texas’ finest banjo and guitar pickers.
