Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This house was wonderful!! The owners had the home decorated throughout for Christmas which we loved! The beds slept comfortably and there was also plenty of parking outside!

It was not really walking distance to shopping but a close drive!

Adorable house walking distance to main st

  • 5 of 5

This was perfect for my family and I during our weekend in Fredericksburg. The outdoor jacuzzi was awesome and the house was walking distance to main st (and even less of a walk to the 290 bus pick up.). We had a great time and would definitely stay in this house again!!

Perfect Fredericksburg Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were lucky enough to travel in December so that we got to enjoy all of the beautiful Christmas decorations the owner had chosen for each and every room of this cozy, well-appointed home. Every room had a charming holiday theme.

The house itself is very well situated for a quick trip to the Main Street area in a quiet residential neighborhood. The hot tub is grande, all of the beds are very comfortable and the heater works awesome! Very cozy--well done! We ran out of time during our weekend stay. If we ever go back, we'd book this house again without hesitation.

Beautifully decorated home right off the main street.

  • 5 of 5

Clean, roomy, and gorgeous decorations in each room! The hot tub initially sold us, but the inside was beautiful and spacious...the pictures did not do it justice! Everything was just a walk away, and the big kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the whole group.

The only downside is that the neighbors definitely like it quiet, which made it difficult to use the hot tub past 9 pm.

We will definitely reuse this home on our next trip to Fredericksburg!

Perfect home for a wonderful weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Oehler House was perfect for our friend weekend in Fredericksburg. The house is set up to accommodate a large group of people but also great for a small intimate trip. The hot tub and fire pit allowed for us to come home early from wine tasting to just hangout and relax. We made breakfast, drank coffee on the porch and grilled our last night. We would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg Brewing Company

In 2014 Fredericksburg was named one of the top 10 wine travel destinations by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. There are so many wine tours and tasting rooms to be experienced!

Fredericksburg Herb Farm: featuring a day spa and tea room

Night life:

RockBox Theater: a live music variety show every weekend

BB’s Billiards and Bowling

Fritztown Cinema: Where else can you see a move for $8 anymore ($5 for kids!)?

We love Luckenbach so much we had to give it its own paragraph. Luckenbach, Texas is a small country town with a lot of personality only thirteen miles outside of Fredericksburg. Famous for its authentic southern charm: grab some candy or jerky from the old-fashioned general store, pull up a lawn chair, and listen to some of Texas’ finest banjo and guitar pickers.
