My husband and I had a great month. We brought our small dog.
Dennis was great and Erik the owner was very flexible. We ended up bringing our one dog but could have brought both. I would have liked a separate bedroom but to be on the island and for the price it could not be beat.
Very good location, close to a dog-friendly beach.
We enjoyed our stay, the location was excellent not directly on the beach however it was just a short walk away. The home backs on to a canal which leads to the Gulf. Very pleasant view, we enjoyed sitting out back. The room was comfortable and large enough to accommodate two adults nicely; it had a full-size stove and fridge and a large closet for storing luggage, etc. The murphy bed, although not ideal, was comfortable enough for our one-month stay. Very convenient laundry facility on premises, as well as TV and internet service provided.
Very relaxing on peaceful canal with fish hopping and occasional dolphins visits. Also a really nice view of the bay. Place is small, but comfortable (as long as it's not too humid and loud window A/C doesn't need to be on). A few more essentials (reading lamp, beach chairs) would've been appreciated. Thanks for a memorable stay!

I am single an although it wasnt a large space I was very comfortable. The Murphy bed was very comfortable and afforded lots of space during the day. The appliances were new nice fridge stove and microwave.
An added bonus was a nice patio and a dock which I used for relaxing and fishing.
The price was fair for amenities and I will return.
The manager was very helpfull and responded very quickly to any inquires
The location is within walking distance to the beach and all amenities or a short bike ride.
This was our first extended stay in FL as well as our first time on the gulf coast. There was just myself and my wife and we found the studio suited our needs well. We tended not to spend too much time in the studio except to sleep and eat usually breakfast and diner. We thought that the price for the month rental was fair for the size of the studio. The bed was very comfortable even though it was a pull down hide a bed in the wall. It did save space as the studio is not large in size. Putting it up and down was no problem. The studio is for two people and with that in mind there were only two chairs at the dining table and two chairs with foot stools in the living area. The bathroom is small but adequate. Everything was in good condition and the appliances looked to be fairly new. The sink and countertop area is small and has no electrical outlet there. We had to use the toaster and coffee pot on a small drawer unit on the opposite wall. A minor inconvenience. Because of the size of the studio there is very little space for putting out your clothes. There is a large closet that has shelf and hanger space as well as the small drawer unit I spoke about before with a couple of drawers. We had to keep some of our clothes in our suitcases as storage. No problem just a minor in convince if your needed something from the suitcase.
There is a washer and dryer in the room next to the outside door to the back(the canal) that is very nice plus. The grounds around the building are well kept and sitting in the chairs in the back at the canal was very nice. The location seems very quiet with little car or boat noise. While we were there we were the only ones in that side of the building. Upstairs noise?
The location was great. A short walk(about a couple of city block distances and you are on the main road of the island. Cross the road and another couple of block walk and you are on the beach. By the way, the beach access is just a very short block to the south of the street you just came out from the studio. This is great as some places you may have to walk a good distance to get beach access. This is something to consider when looking for a place on the island. It was easy to walk to the beach for a sunrise and sunset walk. The beach here was very nice with fine gain sand and a sand bar close to shore that would be get for kids as it was shallow. There were some good restaurants within walking distance and a Public market near by.
