Chef doesn’t want help in the kitchen? Let everyone sink in to the couch, put their feet up and stretch out in front of a roaring fire, watch the game on the huge flat screen TV or just gaze out at the never tiring view, while the chef still gets to enjoy the company and conversation. Take advantage of the warm afternoon sun and move the party outside to the expansive deck, fire up the grill, sit on the deck swing and watch the sunset over the lake. A little stiff from hiking, biking or day on the slopes? Take a relaxing soak in your steaming hot tub with room for 6+.

Here you will find beautiful pine board walls and ceilings, recessed accent lighting, a king size bed, seating area and of course, a flat screen TV. There is a also a private bath with shower and a laundry area with full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

Whether your are resting up stairs or down, you will always be comfortable with warm forced air central heating on cold winter nights, cool central air conditioning for those occasional hot summer evenings. Relaxing and refreshing!!!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was a great relaxing and refreshing escape from the daily grind of Southern California. The views are unbeatable, cabin is clean and bright, and the jacuzzi provided a perfect end to each evening!!! The owner Kerry was so easy to work with and the property manager Lysa responded to any needs promptly. We will definitely keep this cabin on our radar for future visits.

This is our second year renting this cabin and we had another awesome stay. The cabin is very clean and well stocked and the beds are very very comfortable. It's very close to the slopes (2 min drive). Kerry (owner) is awesome to work with, super responsive! We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone!!

Second Stay Here and Loved It Again!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second trip to the cabin and we really enjoyed ourselves. We came with another couple and they were shocked how nice the cabin was. I like to stay here because you get the Big Bear Cabin feel with amenities and comfort. The place feels new and fresh and there is a lot of sunlight with an incredible view. Working with the owner and property manager is a breeze. Make sure to take a morning hike around the neighborhood and take advantage of their beautiful family room fireplace. Thank you!!!

Wonderful Big Bear Rental

  • 5 of 5

Our group of four very much enjoyed this well appointed Big Bear House. The location was ideal, being at the top of Moonridge Drive, away from the traffic and high enough to see the surrounding mountains and Big Bear Lake. Our favorite spot was the huge deck with views, Jacuzzi and cool breezes. There is three large TV's, plenty of bar seating along with a fully stocked kitchen. The VRBO owner is a pleasure to work with and the local property manager can be reached via text. We highly recommend this rental and are looking forward to a repeat visit!

Great peaceful quiet location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here last summer, and would be happy to rent it again when we return to Big Bear. We loved the very quiet location, we didn't want to be in town. So peaceful to sit on the big porch (or in the hot tub!) next to the pine trees enjoying the view, and walk right up the quiet street to hiking trails -- so I could take a little hike before breakfast while others slept in. There were also quite a few mountain bikers on the trails on the weekend, but otherwise not very many people (but FYI the neighborhood itself is too hilly for younger kids to bike around). The property had plenty of outdoor space for our young kids to explore. The backyard is fenced (it's on a slope, so only useful for kids and dogs). Everything about the house itself was very nice and comfortable, everything is newer and very clean. One thing to be aware of is the steps to the downstairs bedroom/bathroom and laundry area are steep, so not so good if you have trouble with your knees or hips, but our 2-yr-old was fine on the stairs (younger baby/toddler would not be). The main floor is easy to access, with a deck ramp up to the front door. Also, the dining table is pushed up against the wall -- to pull it out to use all sides, you would have to scoot the couch over. So we mostly used the counter eating area -- which my mother-in-law preferred anyway as it was easier for her as the main cook to access and serve. The dining table became the "little kid table". The photo of the bunkbed room is not current -- there is a twin bed where the white chair is pictured, and another twin trundle under the bunk. All in all, a really nice. peaceful vacation home!

The BEST rental house in Big Bear!

  • 5 of 5

We just spent another fabulous week in Big Bear, with a repeat rental in this beautiful house. The location, with the lake view down the mountain from the deck, the layout of the house, it's yard and dog friendly status makes this house a hidden gem. The neighborhood is located at the base of the Skyline trail system so all we need to do is walk out the door and away we go to hike and bike for hours. The kitchen is great, the house is clean, the hot tub is the best, and bed and furniture very comfy and of course the big TV for evening movie watching are all bonuses. We'll be back! Thanks for the opportunity to stay in such a great rental. It's also all on the same level with the driveway so easy to get in and out with luggage and gear. The owner and property manager are very quick to respond and make sure we have everything we need.
