Overview

About the property

Bedroom, Bath,Kitchen, deck & Hot tub on main level,Loft has Bath and Queen bed

Nestled in the The Great Smoky Mountains you will find our cabin "Biscuits and Gravy" a peaceful retreat from the action packed adventures during your vacation getaway!

Our cabin and area escaped damage from the wildfires last fall, so no construction noise and the view has not changed. and the fires did move fast and didn't harm too many trees unless they were close to a cabin that caught fire and the land is sprouting new growth like only Mother nature can. Downtown was unharmed and only 2% of the National park was effected and again fast moving fires burned mostly ground cover which uncovered the food source for the animals and opened it up for new growth.

Walking up to "Biscuits and Gravy" you will find a wonderful front porch complete with rocking chairs to enjoy your morning or evening coffee.

Our Cabin has a main floor bedroom with Queen bed, a 32" flat screen HDTV, ceiling fan and a closet , full Bath, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, deck with rocking chairs, and a Bistro table for two plus a hot tub with mountain views.

Loft has queen bed with a full bath, Foosball and a 32" flat screen HDTV, ceiling

fan and a closet.

Main floor living area has a sleeper sofa and a love seat in front of the gas fireplace (October to March) and a 50" flat screen HDTV with an entryway closet.

This Cabin is conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, just four miles from downtown Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountains and about 5 miles from Dollywood, Dolly’s Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, Wonder Works, Golf,

The Titanic and all of the finest restaurants, shopping in Pigeon Forge and just a short drive to Cades Cove.

I made two You Tube videos of the drive on the roads up to the cabin and the surroundings of the cabin to show what is close by, Please let me know if you would like me to send you the link for it. The videos was made April 2017.

Why Steve & Melanie Henley chose East

Love the Mountains and the Gatlinburg area, This cabin is located on paved roads just 3 miles off the main road between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge making for many entertainment choices. And we named it "Biscuits and Gravy" because that is one of our Favorite comfort foods.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was an excellent get away! The cabin was easy to find, had fantastic views, was clean upon arrival, was very close to downtown Gatlinburg, and the renters were very easy to work with. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as it could be. I will definitely be booking with them again!

Incredible and Enchanting!

  • 5 of 5

The photos do not do this property justice. This is a true mountain property with a beautiful view. At night, while enjoying the hot tub you can see lights twinkling far off in the distance as well as the stars above. Mornings were serene as I drank my coffee on the back deck in the beautiful Smokey Mountains.

The cabin was clean , well decorated and provided everything we needed. Staying there was not only fun , but relaxing as well. We saw lots of wildlife and even got a peek at a bear. definately plan to return. The only sad part was having to leaving. I could have stayed there for a month!

Excellent mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

Biscuits and gravy is everything we'd hoped for in our mountain getaway. It's the cutest, coziest cabin that is clean and has excellent views!! The owners respond promptly and have equipped the cabin with everything needed for a great retreat!

Our family was blessed to spend Christmas together in this beautiful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Not only was the cabin decorated beautifully but the view was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The owners were quick to respond and extremely informative. They took great care in stocking the cabin with all you could possibly need. Our stay was just weeks after the tragic mountain fires but the surrounding location showed no signs of damage. We will forever cherish our time spent at Biscuits and Gravy!

We were Blessed that none of our area was effected and i just came back from a trip in April and the regrowth is amazing.
