Why Steve & Melanie Henley chose East

Love the Mountains and the Gatlinburg area, This cabin is located on paved roads just 3 miles off the main road between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge making for many entertainment choices. And we named it "Biscuits and Gravy" because that is one of our Favorite comfort foods.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was an excellent get away! The cabin was easy to find, had fantastic views, was clean upon arrival, was very close to downtown Gatlinburg, and the renters were very easy to work with. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as it could be. I will definitely be booking with them again!

Beautiful view

  • 3 of 5

I was impressed with how clean the cabin was. Except for the carpet which definitely needs updating as well as the couch. However, It's a beautiful location. We felt like the couch bed sleeper sofa is definitely not a viable sleeping option. In fact even sitting on the couch was extremely uncomfortable and could use updating as well. The other beds are comfortable. And baths were clean. It can definitely only accommodate 4 max

Charming and quaint is what you will get!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our short but sweet stay at this property. We only had 2 days but made the most of it. The property was clean as can be when we arrived. The cabin was charming & quaint. We are a family of four and everyone had plenty of room. We were a little nervous about driving up the mountain but am happy to say we did it with ease despite the fact we are from the city. It was a great experience for our urban kids. We would love to come back in the future. Thanks for a fun couple of days.

Great Experience

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was well kept and clean. The only downfall there was to this cabin was the road. It was havoc when it was raining. Other than that it was a marvelous weekend and we Had our Daughter's Wedding there in the cabin and it was beautiful. Thank you again Steve for being so prompt on answer emails and phone calls.

Cozy little cabin with a great view

  • 5 of 5

We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time and after a couple of failed attempts at entering via the key code Steve called us and said he'd be happy to let us in, just wanted to check and make sure it was us trying to enter. Cabin was clean as were all the linens and towels. Kitchen was well stocked with just about every utensil, tableware and cookware you can imagine. The hot tub was clean and the water temperature was great. The cabin was decorated nicely and had a very homey feel to it. Wi-Fi was fast. The drive up to the cabin can be a bit confusing and there are some steep sections so recommend arriving when it is light out.

Centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, there is plenty to do within 20 minutes of the cabin: Dollywood, hiking, ample museums and ton of dining options.

Overall our stay was great and Steve was very communicative and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again should we visit the area in the future.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to spend with friends. It was quaint and had plenty of places for everyone to sleep. It was tidy and had plenty of extra blankets and pillows for our use. The kitchen was well stocked and had a variety of games and movies for us to use. Glad we chose biscuits and gravy for our stay!

Just as advertised!

  • 4 of 5

Property was clean and well supplied/stocked with utensils and linens. The decor was cute and rustic. There were also many board games/card games and movies to choose from. The weather was our ONLY annoyance - torrential downpour while trying to drive, or should I say, CLIMB, up to the house was a bit scary. Would love to go back, but, not sure my nerves can handle the drive up. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was a much needed getaway.
