Great place to stay for any length of time required at OHSU. The amount of space is perfect for 2 people (a bargain compared to apartments downtown). Very comfortable. Also, the area is super safe.
Solid access to downtown. Can easily take nearby Bus 8 or ride Tram in hospital down to Streetcar on waterfront.
This studio provided us with a comfortable space to stay, very close to downtown Portland but in a quiet, scenic area. The studio is across the street from a large hospital complex, which might sound like a busy spot, but it really was not. We found it to be very quiet. It is very easy to get to the downtown Portland area - a short walk to the bus and a 10 minute trip to Pioneer Square. Restaurants, museums and theaters are easily accessible. We also visited friends in Beaverton and McMinnville, and this was easily done because we were on the right side of the river. The area where the studio is located also has a great view of the city, and there is a tram that is worth taking for the view. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen and shower are fine. Parking was not a problem for us, it was always pretty full but there was always a space or two. All of in all, this is a great value.
Luisa's home is a charming condo just outside downtown Portland. The condo has everything described in the listing, however it has some great amenities not mentioned: a washing machine/drier, fantastic shower head, bathroom supplies (towels, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner), and enormous king bed. Luisa was prompt replying to e-mails, and provided excellent destination suggestions for our time in Portland.
There is street parking (we never had a problem finding a spot) or if you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop down the road that will get you downtown in 15 minutes.
I highly recommend vacationing with Luisa if you make a trip out to Portland!
My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this quiet charming studio. The unit had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make our own coffee and tea in the morning. We stocked up on essentials like fruits and juice at the local market and utilized the studio's convenient full-size refrigerator. If you're staying for more than a few days, the washer/dryer will come in handy and allow you to pack light for your PDX visit. Whether you're renting a car or using public transportation, you will have easy access to Downtown Portland. A parking permit was provided, so parking was a breeze. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe, which was just what we were looking for. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Portland.
This place was conveniently located to downtown and access to the highways. If hiking is your thing then there are some really nice inner city trails on the same hill within walking distance. The place was clean and the owner is professional and nice. Good size studio for one or two people. Parking seems bad at first but once we figured it out we never had a problem finding a spot.
The twin home is in a great location for getting around town. Everything we needed was included in the home and the owner even delivered a new hair dryer when the other one came up missing. After we figured out the parking it wasn't too bad. Very close to public transportation if you don't have a car.
Very comfortable, nice place. It was easy to get into downtown and a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and there is a convertible table and chairs for additional seating. Luisa was easy to be in touch with before we got there and checked in with us the day before we arrived to give us the door code. My husband and I would be happy to stay here again if we were coming back to Portland.
