The unique 2-4 person Garden Room is a 650 sq. ft multipurpose studio with large windows and an expansive view of the garden. (Note details about the outdoor garden shower, below.) The Garden Room is decorated in an industrial style, with cement floors and exposed trusses. However, the oriental area rug and fireplace give it a cozy feel.

The roomy unit features a commercial-style stainless steel full kitchen with accessories and utensils included. The studio has a leather euro lounger, which can be used as a sofa, chaise lounge, or sleeper. It also has a custom gas fireplace, and small flat screen TV with cable and DVD player.

The Garden Room has a queen wall bed for sleeping 2 adults. The euro style sofa can also be folded flat to make a smaller, full-sized bed to accommodate 1-2 additional guests (for example, one adult or 2 children).

There is a half bathroom inside (sink & toilet), and a private outdoor garden shower around the back, where you can experience a shower among the natural beauty of the garden. We even provide 2 robes and slippers during your visit for the short stroll to the garden shower.

Escape to Brinnon Gardens and enjoy the serenity of being nestled among a garden retreat. The garden is masterfully landscaped with a variety of trees and plants that create a feast of color, texture and beauty. Enjoy a leisurely stroll of the 5.5 acre property and feel time slow down as you escape the hustle and bustle. The grounds even contain a stream that features spawning salmon each year!

Brinnon Gardens, located in the heart of the historic town of Brinnon, is in walking distance of the Brinnon Store/Gas Station, the liquor store, and local favorite restaurants (the Halfway House Restaurant/Bakery and the acclaimed Geoduck tavern, voted one of the best bars in America!).

This ideal location is also an easy walk to Hood Canal beaches. It is less than a block from the Dosewallips State Park, where you can enjoy either beach/water access or hiking opportunities. Also nearby is another local gem - the spectacular Rocky Brook waterfall! The Pleasant Harbor Marina – only 3 miles away - is a great destination for boating, kayaking, or enjoying the new Galley Bistro and Pub.

The Garden Room is a versatile space that can be used for both overnight getaways or rented daily for special gatherings, such as wine tastings or dinner events.

If additional space is needed see our large 3 bedroom home (#581270) or cozy 2 person Studio Cottage (#581323)

Check in between 4pm-7pm preferred (later or earlier check-in times may be available with advance approval). Check out 11 am. Non-smoking only. Minimum age to rent: 25

Guestbook comments from the owner

My girlfriend and I decided to get away from the city for our anniversary and choose this cottage in Brinnon. Not only were Robert and Connie very accommodating and welcoming, we found the estate to be a beautiful 5.5 acres that we could walk and enjoy. The new building we stayed in was great and there was even a hot tub. We had a very warm fireplace and a full kitchen. The outdoor shower was a unique touch that we enjoyed. The surrounding area had plenty of hiking for waterfalls and amazing views from Mt. Walker. I would recommend this to a friend.

Spectacular!

We knew we were renting a cottage in a garden, however we didn't realize the garden was going to be so incredible! The rentals are pretty close together. We still felt we had our privacy. We hope to return to experience the garden in

another season. Thank you to the owners for sharing your magnificent Brinnon Garden!

Perfect for the two of us! The garden room is exactly as described and has all that you could need.

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It was a great location for us to go and explore and was the best place to come back and relax. We had the whole place to ourselves but would not have minded having to share this beautiful garden oasis with someone else. We were able to use the hot tub and that was amazing after a day of hiking and to just sit and soak and look at the stars. Walking around the garden was an added bonus. The gardens are very well taken care of and there are a lot of varieties of plants shrubs etcetera to wander amongst.

There were birds walking and searching for food outside our window every morning and evening.

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, except tongs. But we made due.

The owners were very easy to work with, especially with the last minute booking. The garden room was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. We have already told our family and friends about Brinnon Gardens and we will definitely be back to stay again and again. Thank you so much Connie and Gene for sharing this beautiful property for us and others to enjoy.

Better than any hotel/motel for same price

  • 5 of 5

PRO. Fun, beautiful space, even in mid-November! Outdoor shower is exhilarating (there is no indoor shower). Strolling the garden on a chilly Fall morning with a warm mug is a unique delight. They provide robes, slippers, and plenty of blankets/bedding to guard against the chilly concrete. Perfectly positioned for quiet, secluded stay within day-trip range of more populous towns.

CON. Proximity to the other two units is closer than I realized, would've liked the feel of a little more privacy (but no actual privacy problems with neighbors). Clean, except for dusting to collect the many cobwebs. The soap dispenser was of an Earth-eco-friendly brand, lemongrass scented, but the actual soap being dispensed smelled and felt like a fakey green apple soap. Kudos for reusing a container, but disappointed in the switcheroo.

You could not get any room in a hotel like this, let alone a suite this big, for this price. I'll keep this one on my list.

Modern Getaway in The Garden

  • 5 of 5

Very impressive grounds. Love the kitchen with gas 6 burner gas range, dishwasher, etc. Would work great as a romantic getaway.

The Elk across the road were worth watching, as they were watching us. Rainbow Brook Falls were close and really nice. The River south of town had salmon in the spawning stage. Food was great at diner in town. Pies, cobblers with ice cream is great. Port Townsend was unique and the Bay view restaurant had good food and a great view.

Thank You

We loved our stay here!

We loved our stay here! I didn't expect to see such a beautiful garden. The pictures were pretty online, but it was more gorgeous in person. The garden house was extremely cozy and well arranged. We already miss the place. We'll definitely be back!
