Very relaxing, great area and wonderful home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heaven’s Balcony. We have already booked for next year!
Heaven on earth
We go to Maggie Valley every year to enjoy the fall. Didn't see much fall this year, but our views of Maggie Valley from our porch was complete heaven. Couldn't ask for better views! I cant wait to come back next year.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the view. God has created a marvelous place here in Maggie Valley, and you can see it clearly from the deck as well as from the inside of the house. Thank you for taking such good care of our home.It was very clean for a 1 week visit. You are certainly welcome anytime.Hopefully next year will be a more normal leaf year for you.In the 30 plus years of coming up here in the fall, We have seen the peak early, late, and right on time as far as the dates, but the weather is always a large factor in the timing and this year summer lasted by far longer than it ever has in over 30 years.See you next year.
Loved the views from the deck! House was clean, comfortable and easily accessible.
Perhaps the best place we’ve stayed at in the many years we’ve been vacationing in Maggie Valley. Even though it rained a few of the days we were there, we still enjoyed watching the clouds move through the valley below us from the covered deck. House was well appointed. The drive up the mountain was made easy by paved roads. We’ve found our new favorite location to stay in Maggie Valley.

A Perfect Mountain Getaway!
I do not even know where to begin. Spur of the moment, I decided I needed to get away and knew Maggie Valley would be the perfect place to relax. The cabin I normally rent when I go there was booked, but I found this gem. What a blessing! After booking, I talked my parents into driving in from another state, then both of my sisters agreed to tag along. This was the first family vacation we had together with just us in probably 35 years.
The cabin offered the PERFECT place for us. There was a ton of room for the five of us. The balcony has the most amazing view imaginable. The pictures show beauty, but even they cannot capture just how amazingly beautiful it is up there. Each morning, we had coffee on the balcony and watched the sun rise and watched the world come to life. We enjoyed the activity that the bird feeders and hummingbird feeder brought to the balcony as well. Words just cannot describe the view of God's creation from that cabin. The drive up the mountain was an adventure, but my Toyota Camry had no troubles getting up and down. And, once we saw what the short trip up the road provided us, it was so worth it.
We made memories there that will never be forgotten, and though I love the cabin I have always rented when I visited Maggie Valley before, I believe I have found my new place to stay. I cannot wait to make the time to return to Heaven's Balcony. My family is so thankful to the Huff family for opening up their home to us to use as our own for a few days. You can tell that they truly want people to be able to enjoy their cabin, and it is truly appreciated. Until next time!
