Quiet lush green hiking trails nearby, so many bird species easily spotted in the ocean and the bay, bald eagles nest visible from kitchen window...

Whether you are attracted by Skagit's Tulips, Vancouver's cherry blossoms, or the fall colors of maple and birch trees; whether hiking in North Cascades National Park, chasing whale migrations among San Juan Islands, skiing at Mt. Baker, or a relaxing hike along the trails next to the cascades of Whatcom Falls Park, the Capilano suspension bridge ... It's all accessible from Blaine.

Every season there is something to see, somewhere to go, come again if you have been here before and the sunset is so peaceful, the moonlight casting over White Rock on the other side of the bay is always soothing. We invite you to come and enjoy our humble beach house, and bring home with you some unforgettable memories.

Absolutely perfect vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures of this home do not do it justice. We needed a home for 15 family members all coming from California and Arizona to attend a wedding in Ferndale. This home far exceeded our expectations. The game room was used every day with someone always playing pool or air hockey. We sat out on both balconies every night for hours enjoying the amazing view of Semiahmoo Bay. The house was adequately furnished and equipped with everything we needed. We had a bbq and were able to sit all 15 of us on the upper grass/deck area and still enjoy the amazing views. We would definitely come back here to enjoy this stunning home. And the owner was so great on communicating when we reserved the house, just before our stay and also checked in with us while we were there to make sure everything was perfect.

Very Enjoyable!

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of eight that stayed two nights at the property. We all wish we had booked a longer stay!

The waterfront location was fantastic and the property was easy to find. Very quiet and enjoyable. The bald eagles on the beach were a bonus!

Our group spent two weeks travelling through the Pacific NW, including parts of Alberta and BC. This was the most enjoyable stay for us. Large, spacious house. Lots of room to spread out. And great views!

Highly recommended!

Our time spent at the property was wonderful in every way! The accommodations were top-notch and our family group of 15 experienced comfort to the max in a most gorgeous location! The owner went out of his way to be sure all of our needs would be met. Highly recommend!

Fabulous!!!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed in the property for a family reunion (14 of us) over the weekend. Really large house (enough rooms, beds for all of us), well stocked with everything that we needed, beautiful garden around the house, nice small grassy area on the side for kids to play, gorgeous views of the bay, relaxing short walk to the beach, awesome sunset in the evening from the deck, lots of entertainment items, like Wi, ping pong, air hockey, pool table, within the house (just didn't get time to use the kayaks in the two days we stayed). We were never bored and didn't bother to go out of the house, for any sight seeing. Owner Bruce was very kind and helpful, right from the beginning. Definitely would love to come back here again!

Graduation Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for our son's graduation from Western Washington University. We needed a home that would accommodate our large family, plus a big home to host a party. This was the perfect home! The location has easy access to the beach, and the view of the bay and sunsets are beautiful, along with several resident eagles. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed, and Bruce even ordered some champagne glasses for us when I inquired if he had any. So glad we found this home for our celebratory weekend!

Great place to stay for our annual golf trip!

  • 5 of 5

This house was great for 8 guys on our annual golf weekend. It was less than 5 minutes to both Loomis Trail and Semiahmoo Golf Courses and close enough (approx. 30 minutes) to other good courses in Bellingham. The house was spacious with lots of bedrooms/beds, clean, and nicely furnished. We bbq'd both nights and all the amenities were there. And the view was amazing!!! We will definitely look at staying here again for next year's trip!

It is truly rare to have a place that can offer multiple attractions in one family vacation, just to name a few here:

- Whale watching tours have a launching point at nearby Semiahmoo resort conveniently, the unique almost from outer space songs orcas exchanging in the ocean are simply unforgettable.

- North Cascades National Park is about 2 hours away, one of the less known hidden gems comparing to some other national parks

- San Juan Islands aren't that far off into the pacific ocean, take a ferry to see the lavender fields can be an enchanting trip

- The boarder is literally minutes away, check out Vancouver during your stay

- Even local parks like Whatcom Falls can be a perfect day trip for a family with young children, beautiful quiet and it's free.

- http://www.tulipfestival.org/ if your vacation happens to be in the month of April, you don't want to miss the color-rich tulips fields which is about 53 miles away

- If you did not arrive from Seattle airport, a day trip to the big city can be full of excitements.

- Book a deep sea fishing trip and capture some pleasant surprises for your dinner table

It is a nice list of enjoyments awaiting.
