Less than 2 miles from downtown Palm Springs! Recently renovated and tightly maintained, this 3 bed, 2 bath is your new modern home away from home.

NEW! FEATURED HOME AT 2016 MODERNISM WEEK!

Located outside of the windy zone in historic Sunmor Estates, the Easmor Alexander has convenient access to the airport and rental cars (with surprisingly infrequent and minimal air traffic noise, because it's not in the flight path). Please see our reviews.

You'll enjoy:

Large pool deck that faces the mountains and sunsets

Deck jets water feature

Hot Tub

Gas fireplace, fire pit, and outdoor BBQ

Multiple lounge areas, with plenty of sun and shade

Well equipped kitchen for dining at home

Plenty of fresh towels and linens

iPod stereo hookup

This 1958 gem was personally renovated by the owners in 2014 to bring it back its original architectural design with modern upgrades throughout.

Step inside to an open-concept home with post-and-beam vaulted ceilings and a whole living room wall of brand new windows and shades that overlook the pool, private patio, and San Jacinto Mountains.

All three bedrooms have comfortable beds and linens, large, bright windows, alarm clocks, bedside lamps, and portable fans. The master is on suite, with shower and tub, and has a 32-inch flatscreen TV and poolside access. Both bathrooms have been completely updated with new vanities and upgraded original showers and bath.

The home was built in 1958 by the Alexander Construction Company who's premier midcentury modern architects were William Krisel and Daniel Palmer.

The owners look forward to sharing their mid-century modern vacation home with you!

Beautiful mid-century homes all around the bike-friendly, walkable neighborhood. View the Tram Station light at night from the backyard and perhaps even fireworks on the 4th of July (check the local fireworks schedule)!

The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed. Palm Springs has strict sound ordinances that prohibit outdoor amplified sound. Review with management for clarifications.

Girls Weekend in Palm Springs

  • 5 of 5

Loved the house! As did my girlfriends traveling from the Midwest. We enjoyed in and outdoor living during a perfect weather weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, well appointed with great art, and had a very chill ease about it. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and outdoor dining. You can also play bocce ball! Also loved that the airport was close by to pick up/drop off friends. I recommend and this will be our main stay from now on in Palm Springs. Thanks go out to Scott Fields for being incredibly helpful with our stay and making sure we had a great time by recommending wonderful restaurants and other fun activites.

Cute, and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This is a very cute home. It's well equipped for entertainment or a family getaway. The pool was clean and relaxing, and for a weekend in October it was warm enough to use daily. The beds are extremely comfy as were the pillows, something that's usually hit and miss with rentals. The Tv room is also cozy and relaxing. I love the decor so fun and sweet, but practical and functional at the same time. Jacuzzi is well maintained and clean. The home is located on a cul-de-sac which makes it very quiet even though you are close to major streets and the airport, you honestly forget that once inside or in the back yard. Close to downtown Palm Springs, and The Airport. Check in and Check out could not have been an easier process, they completely worked around my ever changing schedule.

Perfect Mid-Century Modern Retreat

  • 5 of 5

The Easmor Alexander is the perfect mid-century modern home for your stay in Palm Springs. The owners have thought of everything to make your vacation memorable.

There is plenty of shade in the back yard, the hot tub is fantastic for relaxing in the cool desert nights, and a dip in the pool is the perfect way to cool off in the heat of the day. The bocce court and the fire add to the fun in the back yard. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need to create gourmet meals. And the interior of the home is so well decorated, you'll wonder if Frank Sinatra or Sammy Davis Jr. Will be stopping by for a martini.

Having Scott greet us at the beginning of our stay was like having someone welcome you into their home. It was nice to know that he was just a text away in case we had any questions. All of his recommended restaurants were incredible, particularly Trio, Spaghetteria, Cheeky's and Koffi.

We would highly recommend the Easmor Alexander!

Fun with friends

  • 5 of 5

Scott was very helpful. The house was as nice as expected...the back yard was paradise. We were in PS to go to the Indian Wells tennis tournament. Scott was really good about directions, suggestions and generally showing us how to get around the area. We were 5 women and we had a wonderful time at this property and loved the area. We will be back. Thank you, Scott for making it all so easy for us.

Dang! We Should Have Booked An Entire Week

  • 5 of 5

We drove over from Las Vegas and the desert was in bloom and my desert rat gene was in full happy mode. The house was easy to find, in a quiet neighborhood. Although close to the airport we didn't notice any air traffic noise. We'd come from Colorado so they pretty much had us at the phrase "heated pool." The house had so many wonderful, clever touches and yet was still totally comfortable. My sis and b-i-l came down from the bay area and we just enjoyed ourselves so much! We did laps in the pool, sank into the hot tub after a day of golf and had a loose lesson in bocce ball. My fair skin had enough shade to not turn into a lobster while playing in the pool. In fact the area in our lawn that I'd asked my husband if he'd like a putting green and he declined about needing different slants etc. is now going to become a bocce court. Very much bowling meets pool and lots of fun. Sis even made her paella. Really it just couldn't have been better. Ok maybe it would have been nice not to need to visit the Eisenhower Urgent Care but the visit was short and the cure was fast so even that was not a damper on the visit. We all enjoyed the personal touches in their decoration. Both of us took ideas away to use on our own houses.

I had to laugh when my sis gave my bil the choice of the other two bedrooms and he went back and forth trying to decide giving us each room's merits. We were texted by my sis about a conversation they'd had on their drive home: Her: Given the parameters, that was a nice weekend. Him: That was a great weekend-period! We loved the beds and I need to know what the mattresses are. The queens let me know I can get more room in our older home by using queen beds and still give a tall man his leg space. Loved the attention to detail and the keeping the house true to Eichler while still being comfortable in this century as well. Scott helped with golf course ideas. Really the only complaint from all of us is that we should have taken an entire week. Side note: My sis has a VRBO property in Kauai and was impressed as another owner. It really is as great as the pictures.

What a great time! They had me at "Heated Pool!"

  • 5 of 5

First they have paid such loving attention to detail while making it a comfortable place to relax, that we were just amazed. It is as pretty and comfortable as their photos. Our first evening we tried Marisol, I think the name of the restaurant was. We were in the dark so it was a little difficult to see signs but then I did a "Duh!" And we pulled in behind a place with multi-colored lights trimming it. Their chicken mole and chili verde as well as D. Diabla dish we had was outstanding. If my sis hadn't promised her paella, we probably would have gone back to them for another dinner. My sis and bil visited for a long weekend.

The house is in a quiet area and even though it is close to the airport there was very little air traffic that was noticed even while driving around the area.

My sis has a VRBO home in Kauai and there were items that they loved and took pictures of to use in one or more of their homes. The pool was so,so nice coming from Colorado's winter as was the hot tub after a day of golf.

We worried that we may have laughed a bit too loudly learning how to play bocce that my sis had some understanding of but it was still fairly early before dinner. We enjoyed it enough that we're looking at incorporating a small bocce court in our last bit of yard that we're working to finish this summer. Also since we were breaking up a two week vacation, it was wonderful to have a washer and dryer to keep our amount of packing down. Even needing to visit Urgent Care didn't diminish the stay. (The Eisenhower UC personnel were great and got us back to playing in no time.)

Conversation from my family on their way home to the Bay area: Her-Given the parameters, that was a nice weekend. His-That was a great weekend, period!

I think our only complain was that we all agreed that we needed to book a longer stay next time. Also we drove from Las Vegas and the desert was putting on such a lovely show for us. We live in alpine arid at 6400 feet and this made me really miss the low desert.
