PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:

The home is located on the 15th hole of the Arnold Palmer Private course. The views of the course, and especially the Santa Rosa Mountains, will leave you breathless!

INTERIOR:

This home has been completely updated, both interior and exterior, as of January '15. Just about everything is new from appliances to flooring, lighting, furnishings, doors, trim, wall texture, bathrooms, and more! The flooring is new Porcelain throughout except for new carpet in the bedrooms.

LIVING ROOM

As you enter the home the first thing you notice is the dramatic vaulted ceilings in the living room. The other thing that you notice is the beautiful new Napoleon 50 Linear High Definition gas fireplace and new stone surround. Relax on the new furniture while listening to music through our new entertainment system. There are also two ceiling fans.

DINING ROOM/SITTING AREA:

The new dining room table seats 8 guests. We recently removed two walls which has now created a nice open space. It also now leads directly into the kitchen, sitting area, and family room. The chandelier, along with all lighting in the home, is new. Relax in the sitting area and read a book, converse with the cook, or watch the television in the family room.

FAMILY ROOM:

Relax on the new sectional while reading a book, watching television on the new 60 inch Samsung LED Smart television with new surround sound, listening to music, or playing a game. Truly a great entertaining room being directly off the kitchen.

KITCHEN:

The kitchen has everything that a cook would ever need! Plenty of slab granite counter space along with plenty of cabinets. The appliances are all new along with every kitchen accessory, dishes, glasses, etc. Every single item in the kitchen was purchased 10/14! If for some reason we are missing something, tell us and we will purchase it! There is also an eating bar that seats 3.

MASTER BEDROOM:

The oversize master suite has been completely renovated. The room itself features a new king bed and all new furniture. The doors and casings, trim, and carpet are also all new. There is a ceiling fan to help circulate the cool breeze in the summer months. There is also a 50 inch Samsung LED Smart television in this room.

MASTER BATHROOM:

The master bathroom has also been completely renovated. There is a new double vanity/mirror along with a make-up counter. The 5-piece bath also consists of a walk-in shower with new fixtures and a new hand held fixture, a large soaking tub, and all new flooring and tub/shower surround tiling.

BEDROOM 2:

This room also has a new king bed, new carpet, new ceiling fan, new doors and casings, and new trim. There is also a new 46 inch Samsung LED Smart television in this room. The bathroom has been completely renovated and has a new vanity along with a new walk-in shower.

BEDROOM 3:

This bedroom has two new twin beds (can be converted to a king if needed) along with new carpet, new ceiling fan, new doors and casings, and new trim. There is also a new 46 inch Samsung LED Smart television in this room. The bathroom has been completely renovated and has a tub/shower combination with all new tiling.

UTILITY ROOM:

All new Maytag High Efficient (HE) washer and dryer along with an ironing board and iron.

OUTDOOR LIVING:

This is one of the main reasons why we purchased this home. The view is absolutely stunning and the setting is very private. The home is situated on the 15th tee of the Arnold Palmer Private Course so you have a front row seat during the Humana Challenge. Also enjoy the big horn sheep as they graze in front of the home. The exterior has also been completely renovated as we have rebuilt the pool/spa and converted to salt along with adding new pavers in one section. There will be plenty of outdoor entertainment space with a dining table seating six and another table and chairs in a covered area seating four. We have also built a beautiful gas fire pit along with a new built-in natural gas Napoleon fireplace. Lastly, all landscaping has been replaced with beautiful desert landscape.

Why Jay Agoado chose Deserts

We chose this home because of the floor plan and views. Living in the Pacific Northwest, it is a necessity to escape from the rain/clouds during the winter months. This home's views and open floor plan flood the home with a lot of natural light.

What makes this house unique

As for this home we absolutely fell in love with the setting, and especially with the Santa Rosa mountains literally sitting in the backyard. It is hard to find a more tranquil setting than this home. We also chose this home because we saw an opportunity to update it to today's styles/needs which we hope that you will enjoy. Lastly, we really wanted a home with a private pool so that our guests (and us in the future) wouldn't have to be bothered with going to one of the many community pools. We wanted be able to relax around our own pool in private.

When we arrived everything was exactly as represented. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding amenities. We stayed for a month and there were no issues that the owner didn't take care of immediately. It's a great place to renew yourself. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplace, the hot tub, the fire pit and the big horn sheep! One of the most enjoyable surprises was watching the golfers tee off on the 15th hole of the Arnold Palmer private course. Would definitely recommend this place!

We rented the house for the second time for our 4-weeks stay.

We love the modern style of the house. It is perfectly equipped for a long stay,

and you immediately feel at home!

At the really warm October/November we had a lot of fun with the pool.

As a guest of Jay and his family you can feel really comfortable.

Excellent!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay in La Quinta! The place was clean and equipped with all of the necessities. We spent most of the day lounging in the salt water pool; enjoying the view of the golf course and rocky hillside. The best part was our host! Jay was so accommodating from start to finish, responding to questions at a moments notice. We'll definitely be back!

The property was amazing!

I was torn when thinking about our trip and this review. We had an issue with the pool and it definitely put a damper on the experience especially with temps nearing 120 degrees. But here is the conclusion I came to. Stuff happens! No property is amune to bad luck. The pool issue was a drag to say the least however I honestly believe it was the type of thing that would happen 1 out of 100 visits. What matters more perhaps is the type of response I got when said difficulty happened. Jay called and texted back immediately when notified and I could tell he was upset, embarrassed and genuine in his response. We tried a few things and luck was just not on our side this trip when it came to mechanical difficulties outside of human control. We will hopefully give it another try in the future. Here is why...

House was amazing! The photos on VRBO look stunning but if anything it's a little better in person. The highlight for us was the big horn sheep that walked back and forth all day out back. I felt like I was on an African Safari. Such amazing and beautiful creatures!! I enjoyed telling what song to play on my phone while outside and having it come on over the outdoor speaker. The espresso was a great treat each morning and even purchased a duplicate machine for our home when we came back. My wife was hooked. The AC was sufficient although I would recommend checking the vent by the kitchen tv area. It was a definite place to hang out but a little less cool airflow there. Probably just a vent adjustment. The beds were comfy, shower and bath stunning, and always felt safe in the community. Enjoyed walks on the golf course at sunset amongst the sheep and foxes. Truly a stunning house. If the pool wasn't an issue this trip I would have offered 7 out of 5 stars (which you obviously can't do anyways) so with that issue I knock it down to a 5 out of 5. I feel if there is an issue that Jay CAN control he will do so and do it with concern and a sense of urgency. We will confidently take our chances on this house again.

Perfect house for a getaway

We loved staying at this home. It was very clean, with a newly remodeled, modern feel. The back yard is on a golf course with beautiful rocky scenery and salt water pool and spa. The owner was above and beyond accommodating and so lovely to deal with. Highly recommend! We loved it.
