Renovated 1918 Log Cabin conveniently located within 15 minutes of either Hendersonville or minutes of the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway and eclectic downtown Asheville. Although it is close-in, you feel you are miles away from everything. Central heat and air, a wood burning fireplace, screened in front porch and deck for outdoor dining. The cabin feels very private and yet is near restaurants, an urgent care center, and the airport. The cabin is old and renovated, however, do not expect this to be on Hilton Hotel standards. It is clean but not spotless. There is a water feature in the front and a creek along the back property line with lovely mature evergreens and Japanese maples in the yard. All amenities are included. Please note the nightly price reflected in the listing changes depending on the day of the week and time of the year. lower and sometimes higher.
Lovely space for the space and location. A true Asheville exerience!1

About Lynda Rerych
I am an independent insurance broker who is semi-retired. I moved to Asheville in 1985 from Florida and have explored a lot of WNC. I love to travel and welcome young and old to this sweet cabin.
Lynda Rerych purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Lynda Rerych chose Arden
Although the cabin is not in the 'heart of Asheville or Hendersonville', you have the best of both worlds where it is located. I know when I moved to the area initially, I wanted to live in a log cabin in the mountains. This is pretty close to that realization without the inconvenience of being remote.
What makes this Cabin unique
A cozy fireplace; wonderful evergreens; privacy; close in.

Charming comfortable owner very useful.
Charming and completely equipped. Very comfortable. The owner was quick to come help when we had a problem. She also gave us great recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Loved the ease of getting to places. Was surprised it is so close to a busy road but that wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend !
I love this cabin, it was very charming and comfortable. We wanted to enjoy Thanksgiving with my father-in-law, who lives in an assisted living center located 5 miles away, and this cabin allowed us to have a wonderful family setting for the holidays. The owner is VERY response, and has thought of so many nice touches to make our stay enjoyable including, since we arrived after dark, a lighted house number sign and motion sensor flood lights, fluffy towels, lots of extra blankets and a well stocked kitchen. Although the weather didn't allow us to use it, there is a nice deck with a picnic table. We especially appreciate that we could bring our dog with us.
Very warm and inviting
We loved our stay. This is a very cute and cozy cabin. The owner was so friendly and was flexible with our reservation. About 30 minutes to Biltmore.
This precious cabin has everything. Comfort, central location, charm. We made the cabin home base as we made day trips to Gatlinburg, Cherokee and of course, Biltmore. We already have plans to return in the spring to enjoy the area as well as this homey place to stay.
Cute Place and Super Great Location
We love staying in the cute cottage, so convenient to restaurants, groceries. Each time we stay, it's like coming home! Also, thanks Lynda for the new refrigerator with ice!
Great price for what you get
Very charming cabin and suited our needs. Can't beat the price for what you get. No pet fee which was great!! Loved bringing the "whole" family on vacation. The main road concerned me as there is a curve and cars were driving pretty fast, posted speed limit I don't think was observed. Great location to everything we wanted to do. The house behind I believe is a rental as well. Couple with their 2 dogs came a day after us and their dogs barked quite a bit but this didn't bother us and didn't get our dog all worked up. If looking for total seclusion, probably not the right place to stay. But the cabin and location suited our needs perfectly. Would recommend this cabin--it is very charming and clean. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
This cabin is ideally located between downtown Asheville and Hendersonville. They are about 15 minutes in either direction. It is close to dining, shopping, and the airport and yet you feel you are miles away from everything.
