A traditional mid-sixties desert home on large private corner lot with wide open view of the mountains.

Very private back yard bordered by established lemon, orange, and tangerine trees.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is well maintained and open to provide a relaxing family vacation. High vaulted ceilings give the living room a large open feel with gorgeous gas fireplace and large flat screen entertainment system is perfect for relaxing and movie watching.

Casual sit up counter space in the dining area opens the kitchen and is great for entertaining. The traditional kitchen with upgraded appliances provides plenty of cabinet storage and overlooks the rear yard with pool.

Private Master Bedroom with Mountain View opens to the pool and spa. Master bath with dual sinks also opens to the pool. Front bedroom has built in library for reading or relaxing with pull out couch. Back bedroom with queen size bed is large and open with large double door closet. Tile floors in the kitchen and dining area with hardwood floor in the living room, front bedroom and hall.

Washer and dryer in attached 2-car garage. Great Palm Springs location is close to markets and restaurants and only two miles from down town Palm Springs.

About Mike Morgan

We live in the Southern California area and have enjoyed the Palm Springs experience for many years. We wanted a Palms Springs get away retreat and purchased our desert home (named Mainly Morgan) for relaxing and entertaining with family and friends. We have been improving Mainly Morgan since purchase and now are open to share the Palm Springs experience with others.

Why Mike Morgan chose Vista Norte

We bought this house for the spectacular unobstructed mountain views and private back yard. The house is located on a corner lot which provides wide open view of the local mountains from most anywhere in the yard. The house protects the yard from the occasional desert winds and creates a pleasant breeze that cools the yard during the afternoon. The location of the house has nearby shopping which allow riding bikes or walking to the markets for items needed during the stay. We modeled Mainly Morgan after the beautiful bed and breakfast called The Orchid Tree located in down town Palm Springs. The Orchid Tree went out of business and we couldn't find anything like it in the desert. So, we created Mainly Morgan.

Mainly Morgan

We have just spent two wonderful months at Mainly Morgan. It was everything we thought it would be and more. The house was well stocked with all you would need as was the kitchen. The backyard was an outdoor oasis with beautiful mouain views, a pool & hot tub to enjoy with plenty of chairs & loungers to relax in.

The owners Mike & Michele were very accessible should we have needed them. It was also very nice to meet Mike in person.

The location is great. We enjoyed alot of walking, numerous visits to downtown Palm Springs, alot of golfing and exploring of the area.

We travelled with our Westies and they too enjoyed the pet friendly home and yard.

We hope to return to Mainly Morgan in the future.

Absolutely the best stay ever!

My husband, young son, and I just returned home from two unforgettable months at Mainly Morgan. We were originally only booked for one month, but loved the house so much that we decided to extend for a second month. We would have stayed forever if we could!

Mike and Michele take great care and pride in ensuring their vacation rental is top notch. You want for nothing when you are there. From the extra, little touches (like the baby sunscreen for our little guy and the tennis balls for our dog), to the general setup of the house, you are truly made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The house is well furnished and set up with everything you might possibly need for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable, the linens (especially the bath towels!) are great, and the kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and gadget you could desire. The pool and spa are immaculate, the yard is peaceful and frequented by hummingbirds (and other birds if you fill up the feeders with the supplied seed), and the view from the yard is second to none. While a lot of properties in the area have similar views of the mountains, almost all of them have powerlines in the way. There are none at all to be seen from the backyard of Mainly Morgan - just a breathtaking unobscured view of the mountains and palm trees. The little chiminea is great for an evening backyard fire under the stars. Oh and the house is dog friendly too, which was a huge bonus for us as we got to bring our furry family member with us to stay too! The grocery store is just a short walk or bike ride away and the downtown "strip" of Palm Springs is a five minute drive away.

Mike and Michele were hands down, the best hosts of any property we have ever rented. Communication with them was fast, easy and pleasant, and they were responsive to any queries we had, both before and during our stay. They've put together a comprehensive guest guide for the house, so most questions are easily answered just by reading that, but they welcomed our calls the couple times we needed help with something not in the guide.

The area the house is located in is safe, quiet, well kept, and central to everything. I can't find a single bad thing to say about Mainly Morgan. We will certainly be back, hopefully sooner than later!

Home away from home!

We loved our stay at Mainly Morgan - a perfect place to relax, read, eat at great restaurants or poolside with the amazing mountain views! We brought our grandson in for a week of our stay during his Spring break. Nearby skate park and hiking trails were great for him as well as the backyard pool and spa. Tasty donut shop just a short walk too! The place is really comfortable and we loved the big screen TV. We'll definitely be back....

Loving Vista Norte

What a great place to relax and enjoy all that Palm Springs has to offer. The home is spacious, comfortably furnished, and has all the amenities. The pool and yard were perfect, and the entire setting couldn't have been better. If you decide to stay inside, the big screen TV has an awesome picture. Also, look for the Ladderball game in the garage. It's a fun game for the whole family. My wife and I spent many a day enjoying all that Vista Norte has to offer and would recommend it to anyone heading to "The Desert". There is no reason to drive any further.

Location, location, location as the saying goes. This is it, and many reasons why: 1.The north end of PS offers the shortest drive from LA/Org. counties, and is only moments from the airport. You don't have to go through any crowded parts of town to be at the front door. 2. The "best view in town" is from the lounge chair at the east end of the swimming pool. It's very private and you have an awesome view of the San Jacinto mountains (see photo). At night, while having dinner on the patio and looking at the stars, you can even see the P.S. Tram climbing the mountain. If there is a chill in the air, the chiminea and wood supply is right there. 3. There are two neighborhood centers, including major super markets, National banks, fast foods, and all the supporting players, within walking distance, less than one mile away. Also, Billy Reeds is a long standing PS restaurant, and only blocks away. 4. If you play golf, five nice courses are within a 10 minute drive. My favorite is Escena, for it's lush greens, homeless fairways, outstanding vistas, and wonderful outdoor dining patio. It is the closet and only five minutes up the road. 6. For the bikers, The Cycling Tour has miles of marked highway trails which are accessible just a few blocks away. 7. For those people who haven't been to the Springs, let it be known that the wind blows, a lot. Vista Norte's location in the valley, and position on the lot, protects you from the wind so you can continue to enjoy the backyard without being uncomfortable. 6. If that isn't enough, you can always drive to the downtown shops and restaurants only a few minutes away.

The owner is very easy to work with and will do his best to accommodate you. ENJOY
