About Liz Cain

The Tyrolean Village condominiums were built by my Dad,

John "Ace" Cain. Our large family spent many winters skiing on Mammoth mountain and summers hiking in the Sierra and fishing the lakes. We watched Mammoth grow from a tiny town with a big mountain to the busy ski resort and vacation spot it is today. This condo TV10 is the very condo we grew up in. In 2004

we rebuilt the condo keeping the same floor plan my Dad had originally built but remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms replacing the cabinetry adding pine paneling and an upstairs shower. (How did we ever survive with 8 people and one shower?!) We love our new condo with the same cozy family vibe.

Great cabin! Close to everything!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was awesome! We came up right after it had snowed and it was beautiful. The cabin is close to everything. I would say the pictures do not do it justice. It was a lot bigger than I originally thought. Upstairs has high ceilings and a huge window/ sliding door, which is a great view! Bedrooms and furniture are well kept and the bathrooms are updated. My ONLY complaint would be the TV needs to be updated, but that is it! The cabin is close to the trolley stops and just a few minutes to the town and slopes. There was a manager on site who was very friendly and helpful. Liz the owner was very accommodating through the whole process as well. Hoping to visit mammoth again and stay here!

Liz is amazing!

  • 5 of 5

I didn't actually stay in the condo. I am new to VRBO and accidentally booked a few different places, and Liz was so incredibly kind and helpful while I was trying to reverse the processes of accidentally booking. She was prompt, understanding, kind, and amazing!

Thank you Liz! and the next time I come to Mammoth I'll be staying in your condo!!

Annual Mammoth Shred Sesh

  • 5 of 5

Liz's condo made for a perfect weekend for 5 friends for a last minute weekend trip to mammoth. It was clean, modern, and cozy! Kitchen had all the amenities, and the location was perfect! She was easy to reach and her manager was just as accessible. I would be thrilled to return to this condo for another trip very soon!

A great place to enjoy the mountain.

  • 5 of 5

We rented this condo for a ski weekend and could not be happier. The kitchen is a nice size with a good variety of cooking pots, appliances, etc and the living space is comfortable with a nice view of the mountain. I appreciate that this condo has a room with two bunk beds in order to accommodate more guests and are actually very comfortable to sleep on. We had four adults a two kids on our trip.

End of summer escape

  • 5 of 5

This condo made for the perfect last minute family summer getaway. Accommodations were well suited for our family of 2 adults and 4 children (all boys under 12). Located close to the Village, we could easily ride our bikes to the tram to be shuttled up to Horseshoe Lake so that the kids could enjoy the long, scenic decent back to the condo. The condo was is so close to Lake Mary and Lake George that our fishing trips could be put together on a moments notice! The unit is spacious, immaculate and appears newly remodeled. It has a fenced-in patio where we easily stored 6 mountain bikes. The kitchen is very functional and even has a gas stove, something I much prefer for cooking over electric. I haven’t stayed here before, nor during ski season, but I’m going to certainly consider it for what everyone is hoping will be an epic ski season this coming winter.

Beautiful Condo!

  • 5 of 5

I had a great weekend at the condo this fall. It was a great location for all of our outdoor pursuits and close to town. The condo is well equipped and had everything we needed to cook in. The inside is immaculate and looks like new. I would highly recommend this condo.
