Beautiful and Peaceful Mountain Home

  • 5 of 5

I live up here in Bailey and needed a place for all of my bridesmaids and I to stay the weekend I got married. This house was very accommodating. It was beautiful and serene. My girl friends are not used to the mountains and they were thoroughly impressed. The house was very comfortable. homey, and inviting. The girls LOVED the deer that would hang out around the house every morning. The huge windows not only provided a lot of light but also a great view of the surrounding area as well as the deer. They got quite a few pictures. The owners were nothing but helpful and very quick to respond! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice getaway to the mountains.

White Christmas Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Being from the Dallas/Ft Worth area, our family had the opportunity to come together for a mountain getaway at DeerHaven. It turned out to be the perfect retreat for us.

To begin, we appreciated the fact that it was an easy drive just over an hour from DIA to arrive at this secluded hideaway. With a convenient stop for provisions in Conifer enroute we found ourselves at this cozy mountain home to enjoy an early Christmas Eve. With fireplace and wood stove fires started we quickly settled in. The home is rusticly and beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A modern kitchen and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms makes it easy to spread out and enjoy private space when desired. We enjoyed playing in the snow and were ecstatic with the continuous deer that came by to visit.

Hiking base camp

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay! We booked the house for our long weekend hiking trip. The owners were very easy to work with and were very responsive. The house has a great location, close to several national parks and amazing hiking trails (or any outdoor activity). Although there are some homes near by, the house felt very secluded making the decks a great place to relax. The house itself was beautiful, roomy and provided everything you could need. We will be back!
