Fabulous space, views and ski convenience make this a favorite among guests!
This property was purchased before construction even took place. This is the ultimate, prime location! It is on the top floor with front and center mountain views. Since the opening of Beaver Creek Mountain, sometime in the late 1980's, we have come to Beaver Creek. Summer and winter alike!
Since then, we have gone on as a family to add to that number of properties at the Borders Lodge, it is simply a fabulous Property with wonderful staff! We have all grown to love it there! The photo above is a small glimpse of our wonderfully robust family which includes: 4 siblings, 2 daughter-in-laws, 2 son-in-laws, 14 grandchildren and their first great-grandchild born August 1, 2014, there will be plenty of room and memories to be had at this gorgeous property!
From the moment you enter the room, the mountain peaks are evident. Watch the skiers ski down the mountain from your balcony or family room, or hikers, bikers and horses on the mountain in the summer months. Gorgeous mountain views can actually be seen from all three of the bedrooms.
We have recently updated our place as the photos will show. The master suite is on the first floor with the second and 3rd bedrooms being upstairs. The second bedroom is a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeping room for 4). Additionally, we have a brand new queen size sleeper sofa in the family room should you desire extra sleeping space. There is sleeping space for 10 persons, which is our maximum allowance.
The Borders Lodge offers a unique combination of seclusion and convenience. This elegant ski-in/ski-out property lies just steps from the Elkhorn lift and within walking distance to the heart of Beaver Creek Village. Its unique hillside location affords spectacular views of Beaver Creek Mountain to the south and the rolling fairways of Beaver Creek Golf Course to the north.
Our unit also comes complete with a fireplace, washer and dryer as well as a private balcony with expansive mountain views.
A heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, heated covered parking, complimentary WIFI, complimentary coffee bar are included amenities.
A recent $1.6 million renovation, unveiled for the 2013/2014 ski season, updated the interior common areas with red birch woodwork, custom granite selections, wool carpeting and slate tiling to enhance the look and feel of a sophisticated mountain lodge.
Marrying the comfort of a private residence with the personal service of a fine hotel, The Borders Lodge offers daily front desk, private underground parking and complimentary on-demand shuttle service. Additional resort amenities include a group meeting room for up to 50 people.

About Chrisy Jankowski
We have enjoyed Beaver Creek for the past 20 years. All of our children have grown up enjoying everything that the town has to offer. We originally came to ski in the winter, and then realized that the summers are just as wonderful. We now own 4 properties here and enjoy spending quality time here with friends and family.
Chrisy Jankowski purchased this Condo in 1991

We had a wonderful time staying at this property in February 2018 in Beaver Creek. It is in a wonderful location and is truly ski-in/out with only a small downhill ski to the Elkhorn Lift. One thing to note is that the picture of the "kids bunk room" is no longer accurate. This bedroom has one set of bunk beds, with a full on the bottom and twin on the top. Other than that, everything was exactly as described and the overall experience was great.
Six adults stayed in this beautiful condo over Labor Day weekend. Couldn't have been a better stay! Chrisy was very responsive to questions and the booking process was smooth. Would stay here again! The views are great, easy walk to the village.
I Can't Imagine a Better View in Beaver Creek!
What a great unit, great location and great service from both Chrisy and housekeeping! Looking forward to our next stay!
Beaver Creek exceeded our expectations!
This was our first time at Beaver Creek. We had a wonderful time with the sunny weather and all the lovely people we met during our holidays. We booked about a month before Presidents day week and were lucky to find a 3 bedroom unit through the VRBO. However, the rental price was much higher compared to the other places we have stayed around the world... We have skied mostly in Courchevel, Valde'sere, Whistler, St Mortitz and once in Deer Valley. However, our Beaver creek place comparatively was also the largest, nicest than any other apartments/town houses that we have rented before. To top it off, the owner Chrisy was the best to liase with. Chrisy answered our emails promptly and was generous to allow us to have a late check out. These are small details that make our stay coming from afar (Hong Kong), easy and stress free.
The apartment was spacious & generous in supplying linen, plates, glasses, sharp knives & brand new circulon pots. So many places we have stayed before provided utensils that i think the owners wanted to throw out. Normally knives are blunt, the non-stick pans shredded and plates and glasses chipped... Here at our place, Chrisy provided more than enough quality pots and pans, unchipped glasses etc.
While I appreciate everything Chrisy did to ensure our stay was hassle free and smooth as can be, I was disappointed when I heard from many skiers on the slopes that they were paying half my price since they deliberately booked to arrive the first Wednesday (Feb 18th) after the Presidents day week. Elkhorn Lodge also told me that their rates dropped after Presidents day and their weekly rate would have reflected that. I paid the Presidents day week price for 8 days Feb 13 - 21. I wish the booking system could have provided different daily rates to reflect the high holidays and the non high holidays. Nonetheless, besides this, Chrisy and where we stayed is perfect and I highly recommend that you can trust to stay there with your family.
The location is fantastic. Ski in and Out with a very efficient Shuttle service.
World Championships weekend with friends
We had a terrific time in this great condo. Seven of us stayed comfortably and enjoyed the close proximity to the village. We will be back again for sure! Thank you.
