Perfect for 2-4 with Pet
We really enjoyed staying at the Yellow Cottage. We had 4 adults plus our dogs. Plenty of room. Very very clean. Decorated great for a rental property. Saw lots of birds across the street from our yard. She had a lot of supplies (kitchen, bathroom & cleaning) for our use. And the sheets, towels paper towels were all supplied - very clean & great not having to drag our own.Would recommendit to anyone going to Chincoteaque Island.
House very comfortable for humans and dogs. Nice, quiet location. Quaint exterior and interior. Clean and inviting. Instructions clear and very helpful. Well appointed with supplies.
Tranquil, peaceful, relaxing stay!
We just completed our stay at this cottage in Chincoteague - what a lovely home! The screened-in back porch was heavenly for lazy mornings with coffee or relaxing early evenings with a refreshing drink. The property owner maintains the property well, and has supplied all the amenities of home. Nice, quiet location on the island, but not too far from the downtown area. It was great for the dogs too. Just make sure you bring your bug spray - only issue with the trip! Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Peaceful retreat, yet close to eveything
This home is very warm and welcoming. We only stayed a few nights to see the wild ponies, but I wish it had been longer. The whole area is great it is like a sleepy little beach town with a great national wild life refuge in it.
The home was very nicely decorated, with some great antique pieces mixed in, which I just loved. The bed was super comfy and it was convenient having the two full baths. We only used the downstairs walk in shower which was really nice and plenty of hot water.
Our favorite part of the home was the back porch, we sat out there in the morning having coffee and in the evening. It is such a relaxing way to start and end your day.
The owners were super easy to deal with and they had extra items available that most houses don't which was a nice touch. There were Q tips & cotton balls along with beach towels and chairs. The beach towels and chairs are super nice, because it is less stuff to pack for vacation.
We would definitley stay again, only longer so we could enjoy the beach and all the town has to offer.
Quaint, Relaxing and Lovely!
What an adorable home! We loved it! From the moment we arrived, we felt "at home". It was a perfect get-a-way for our mother/daughter weekend. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the screened porch was our favorite morning spot. A nice quiet area of the island too!
Was clean and in a quiet location. Only thing we didn't have was a skillet
Thank you for your comment. Our well-stocked kitchen of pots and pans includes a large wok-skillet and an All-Clad skillet.
