Designer's Own Home With Beautiful Antiques And Upscale Furnishings.

Home features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with 'rainforest marble' countertops overlooking the lake. Living room with fireplace, large bay window and built in tv opens to screened porch. Medi room with 42' hd tv and surround sound is on the other side of the living room, quietly closed off by antique french doors. Dining area off front entrance can seat up to 10 people.

Master off dining area with king bed, large master bath with his/hers vanities, dressing room with make-up table. Lower level has 3 brms all opening to covered patio overlooking lake, with seating for reading etc. 1 queen and 2 twin xl's share hall bath. Additional queen and ensuite bath at end of small hall. Large laundry room opens to outside. Lake is suitable for swimming, paddleboards or too! Contained firepit with Adirondack chairs down by the lake. Great for wiener roasts and s'mores!

After raising my two sons in Atlanta, I moved to Cashiers after 34 years to live a less hectic life. It has been PURE JOY to live in paradise while I pursue my career as a professional artist and continue my interior design services on a smaller scale. Gardening is also a passion. While staying in my peaceful home I will be nearby to take care of any small needs you may have such as where to dine, secret hikes, golf course inquiries etc.

Why Jill Wolfe chose Smoky Mountains

My little piece of paradise is less than 5 minutes from everything Cashiers has to offer., Ingles shopping area, The Village Green, New Rec Center, pool and playgrounds..this means less time driving on our curvy mountain roads, particularly at night when it gets VERY dark! Beginning this 2016 season there is a MAJOR crackdown on DUI's so being close to all the restaurants much safer.

What makes this house unique

Waking up to have coffee on the screened porch overlooking Laurel Lake is pure heaven....And on a cool morning or evening the outdoor fireplace provides the perfect mountain experience.The separate Media room is a great for kids watching a movie while parents can relax nearby on the porch.Guys love to hang there for sports events too! Each bedroom is a quiet retreat with French doors that open to outside seating. Perfect for reading on a rainy day.The upstairs deck has two comfy lounge chairs for those who want to enjoy the sunshine and enjoy the open lake view. There is also a fire pit with adirondack chairs down by the lake. Bonfires on a starry night are the best!!

My husband,2 children and 2 dogs were the first people to stay in this beautiful and comfortable home. The kids and dogs were safe to play on this quiet street and the dogs loved the lake! It was warm enough to build a fire in the outdoor fireplace in the mornings for coffee and at night to roast marshmallows. Kids loved the TV room on one rainy day and we read books and really got to relax. Will definitely book again and for longer!

Canoe available to take out on the lake...I have lifejackets for teens and adults but none for small children..Fishing is permitted only for laurel lake owners and/or tenants.

Lovely and tranquil

The home is on a large pond with a very quiet street. The interior of the home is charming and very welcoming. The gardens are beautiful. We had a perfect relaxing vacation.

Wonderful place!

We loved our stay! The house is spacious and immaculate. My wife loves to cook and the kitchen was very well stocked. I loved the covered porch during afternoons following a big hike. Great views. Privacy. A napping haven!

Jill is a wonderful host. She had flowers waiting for us and checked on us to ensure our stay was everything we hoped for. And it was.

Fun Family Vacation

We have made it a point to vacation with family each summer and Angel House hit all of the marks. It was clean, well-appointed, and picturesque. It was lovely to be able to relax and dine on the screeened in porch overlooking the lake and yet be so close to all of the sights and amenities that Cashiers has to offer. Worked well for us with grandchildren and pets. Definitely a future go to!

Family Vacation

We had been searching for the perfect place for our family to stay this summer and we were so fortunate to find Angel House. The house is beautiful and owner was very accommodating and happy to have our small dog join us on the trip. Everyone had a great time, our kids (ages 9-17) especially. There was no end to the activities available to us, whitewater rafting, zip line, waterfalls, etc. The grocery store, shops and restaurants are just minutes away. We truly couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely be returning!
