About Kelly Grossetete

I am an outdoor enthusiast. I love skiing, hiking, mountain and road biking. I am a commercial pilot by profession. I have tried to make this condo your home away from home with many of the comforts and furnishings you would have there.

Kelly Grossetete purchased this condo in 2011

Why Kelly Grossetete chose New Mexico

I learned to ski at Taos, then spent 17 years skiing and working at Snowbird and Alta, Utah. I've found myself back at Taos Ski Valley with it's friendly, low, key, laid back and multicultural atmosphere. I love the variety of terrain the ski area has to offer, both for the expert and beginner skier/snowboarder.

The St Moritz is located in the heart of Northern NM and high in the mountains where the sights and activities are almost endless: stunning mountains, expansive national forest, rolling sage plains, ancient and contemporary Indian Pueblos, early Spanish historical sites, 400 year old Mexican adobe villages and churches, art galleries, museums, performing arts (music, concerts, plays, opera), hiking and biking trails, fishing, numerous hot springs, white water rafting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, bird watching, workshops and classes---well you get the picture.

What makes this condo unique

My family bought this property for it's close proximity to the base ski area, it's amenities and the spectacular skiing, hiking and biking trails. Once I drive to the condo I never have to use the car again. Yet, in the summer or when need a break from skiing, Taos and the surrounding area offers great opportunities for a wide variety of activities and really unique shopping options.

The Taos area is the home of Pueblo Indians, descendants of the early Spanish and Mexican settlers, world famous artists and folks who treasure a life style of the beaten path. Taos is the home of the famed 'Earth Ships', the mineral hot springs at Ojo Caliente, the Rio Grande gorge bridge and the music festivals in Taos and at the ski valley.

The property is gorgeous! Updated and cozy with wonderful touches. This was the perfect condo for us

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful location and wonderful property. The condo is updated and feels very homey and “mountain-y” while still having modern conveniences. All the updated touches are beautiful and useful. We loved turning on the fire place every night and appreciated the pull out couches with extra bedding and pillows. We loved the welcome basket of breakfast goodies and cooked many meals in the condo. It was so nice having a washer/dryer and all the soaps and dryer sheets so I didn’t have to do laundry as soon as I got home. The only thing that would have made it over the top better if a few necessities with cooking that we didn’t buy or bring such as cooking spray and butter - other than that we were good. Kelli was easy to work with and checked in on us often. Gave great recommendations and was a super host.

Wonderful condo in ski country!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 nights at this condo over spring break. It was a wonderful condo that was well appointed with everything you would need. The manager even had a welcome basket with hot chocolate, oatmeal, chocolates, coffee and more. It is a very short walk to the little town center to buy lift tickets and get on lift 1. We will be back!

Beautiful condo!

  • 5 of 5

Great location short walk to ski village. Beautiful golden aspens in autumn as you sit in front of gas fireplace looking out windows. Modern, stylish condo with a great design & quality furnishings. One minute walk to a hiking trail and a 2 mile drive up to a 4 mile lake trail. Very comfortable! Thank you for a wonderful get-away weekend for our family of four.
