Newly Redecorated And Refurbished 2-bed 2-bath With A 8x24-foot Furnished Lanai

Imagine opening your front door and looking across the ocean at the lights of kailua-kona village through 16 feet of sliding glass doors. Imagine standing on the 24-foot wide lanai and watching spinner dolphins year round and whales in the winter.

This newly redecorated and refurbished vacation getaway features up-to-date appliances, birch cabinets, granite counter tops, and a bar height peninsula with swivel chairs. It comes equipped with all the accouterments you need to prepare and serve gourmet meals in style.

The living room is well equipped with a large flat screen tv, multi-system stereo, dvd player, new tropical furniture, sea life lamps, and hawaiian-themed artwork. A built in desk and wi-fi help satisfy the needs of those who want to stay connected to home or office.

Picture yourself laying in a king size bed adjacent to eight feet of glass and imagine being lulled to sleep by waves caressing the nearby shoreline. If the shoji screen between the bedroom and living room is open, you can watch television from bed. The master bath includes a walk in shower, birch cabinets, two granite counters, and plenty of drawers and shelves for your clothes and toiletries.

The guest bedroom is equipped with a queen-size murphy bed, two chests of drawers, and a closet. When not using the bed, the room can be used as a private office, reading room, storage, or for other activities. Immediately adjacent to the bedroom is a full bath that can be used by guests.

New, full size washer and dryer are easily accessible but hidden from view. All linens and towels are supplied, as are folding beach chairs and towels. Golf clubs are available with pre check-in request, as are a pack ‘n’ play and booster seat.

Private, handicap accessible, homeowner association amenities include b-b-qs and a swimming pool with ample chaise lounges, tables, umbrellas and chairs. Eating and drinking is restricted to the fully equipped b-b-q area.

There are no stairs between your reserved parking space and this unit. The kitchen, living room, and master bedroom are wheelchair accessible. No pets or smoking is allowed in this unit.

Visit an active volcano and continue on to see hilo town and farmer's market and local shops. During your stay, its nice to take a drive and hike to akaka falls. Greenwell coffee plantation offers a very nice tour and kona coffee tasting. Enjoy 'the stroll' on the 3rd sunday of each month when the main street of kailua-kona is blocked off so local craftsmen and vendors can offer their a festive environment. In kailua-kona. Our favorite beach is kua bay located about 5 miles north of the airport directly across the highway from the veterans cemetery.

About the owner: Judy is a retired United Airlines flight attendant. Perhaps she served you a Mai Tai while you were crossing the ocean between San Francisco and Hawaii in the last 37 years. Tom is a retired educational consultant with extensive experience in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Why the Owner Chose Kailua-Kona, HI, USA:
We chose Alii Villas as our future retirement home in 2003. We love Alii Villas, Kailua-Kona, and the Big Island for all they have to offer. Judy loves reading on sandy beaches and Tom enjoys fishing from shore. We choose this property because of its proximity to the ocean, friendliness of its residents, and its superb caring management team.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This is a ground floor unit with no steps between the reserved parking space and living areas. The entry provides wheelchair access to the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and private lanai. Likewise, the common area pool, pool bathrooms and b-b-q area are handicap accessible. The royal kona resort hotel, cafes and restaurants, abc store, and convenient shops are only about a mile away. Locked gates provide security while enabling residents and guests to easily access the lava-formed shoreline and tide pools. Nightly, residents and guests join together at the seawall with a drink to watch the sunset and share information about lave flows, snorkeling sites, favorite restaurants, and unique places to visit on the big island. The tropical landscaping and common areas are continuously maintained by a professional team of friendly, caring staff.
