Hamilton, a delightful, stylish house situated within easy walking distance of the market place and the historical, gastronomic and cultural highlights of Bruges is located in amongst the canals of the 15th century Hanseatic area of the city.

The recent restoration - a successful marriage of the old and the new - created a peaceful environment, recommended for a two-to-four persons luxury holiday, or for a family with up to three children. With a little bit of luck, there is a parkingplace (2 hours free with blue disc) in front of the house, but a car is not necessary to enjoy Bruges and his surroundings.

Two bikes are provided for your enjoyment, and both walking and cycling in Bruges, and the surrounding areas is easy and fun. The seaside is easily accessible by road or train, or by bike for those with a little more stamina. You have the entire house at your exclusive disposal. Away from home, but at home. After 5 weeks of travelling trough Germany, Spain and France, it was so relaxing to stay at Hamilton House. We booked on the net for 4 days, extended to 1 week, and then to 2 weeks, and have enjoyed every day. We have walked our legs off sightseeing in Brugge and Damme. Have caught the train to Oostende, Lille, Antwerp, Brussels Rotterdam and Gauda. The tour to Ieper and Flandern Fields was very memorable, the 11 th November (Remembrance Day) each year will mean so much more now. R&R Stanley, Kalumunda, Western Australia.

We have stayed in many guest houses and apartments in Europe and North America over the years and your lovely house is by far the most beautiful and comfortable. V&D Kaplan, Eliot& Serena, Kent, Ohio, USA.

This is a well-equipped house in a convenient location. We where surprised at how well-stocked your kichen cupboard is. We shall remember Bruges for its massive Saturday market, chocolate, beers, chips with mayonnaise...The Kan family, High Wycombe, Bucks,UK.

There is no dedicated parking with the house itself - however local street parking is available using free parking permits provided (4 hours free parking during the day ; always free from 1900 to 0900; several underground car parks are available within the city for short term parking ; 24 hour parking with free shuttle service to the city center is available at the main railway station for 2.50 euro per day.

Superb city break.

Lovely home with all the facilities you could possibly need, quiet, clean and with comfy beds. It is an excellent location for walking to all the tourist sites, restaurants and walks by the canals. The one bedroom has the bathroom (shower and sink) ensuite and the toilet is accessed by both rooms from the landing.

Raphael is charming and organised a taxi to the station for us at the end of our stay. A big thank you. We would like to return one day.

Home away from home

Had a great time at Hamilton House. It was our home away from home. Close to everything, had what we needed and quiet. Raphael was super nice and helped us out when we first arrived. Wish I could have stayed longer, very nice and cozy

A lovely little house, easy walk to central Bruges; good equipment, comfortable, well-kept.

A lovely little two-bedroom house in a quiet street, 5 minutes to local cafe; 10 mins to Markt in central Bruges. Pretty canals just around the corner.

Comfortable and well-appointed through living/dining/kitchen, with all the bits you'd need to eat in (though eating-out seems to us to. E one of the reasons for a holiday!)

First floor bedroom with shower room and with adjacent toilet make a great suite for a couple. 2nd floor bedroom also spacious, but you'd need to be very friendly with or related to couple in main bedroom, as shower is off their bedroom.

The perfect retreat in busy Bruges

Hamilton House was perfect for our family. It's a stylish retreat off the main tourist roads but near to everything ....so nice and peaceful to come back to. We had my 18month old granddaughter with us. The lounge / kitchen area was perfect for her to play safely while being comfortable for us 3 adults to relax. Super clean and very well equipped. Great stay in Bruges

We had a wonderful time in Bruges, and the Hamiltonhouse was a perfect place to relax at the end of a long day of exploring. Nice location removed from the central chaos, but still walking distance to all of the sights. Bed was comfortable, house was quiet and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
