Overview

About the property

San Lorenzo district is a great location for exploring Rome.

Spacious and cozy apartment, located in a perfect location for exploring Rome and experience the vibrant district of San Lorenzo.

It is located at 12' on foot, from Rome Termini central train station and the University La Sapienza. About 20' on foot from the Colosseum and is well connected by bus service and the metro.

The house, bright and quiet, is located on the fourth floor, with elevator. It is equipped with a fast wifi internet facility, 20mg.

The cleaning and washing of linens are scrupulous.

The mattresses, sheets, and towels are of excellent quality.

The large living room has a table where they can sit 8 people comfortably. It also has air conditioning which can also refresh the rooms.

One bedroom is triple, 16sqm, one double bed, one single bed and a baby cot if necessary. The other bedroom, 13sqm, has two single beds which can be joined into a double bed. In the triple room there is the TV.

The bathroom has a bath with 6mq tub and shower and a bidet.

The large kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking, a dishwasher and a table where you can sit 5 people.

Another complement of the house, is the balcony, exposed to the sun all day and overlooks a quiet courtyard. In the balcony you will find the washing machine and the need for drying clothes.

The house is structured on two floors. I am often abroad, but in the period I live in Rome, I live upstairs.

It is an independent apartment with its bathroom, its kitchen and its bedroom.

To access my apartment, I am forced to use the entrance of the house.

To better understand, take a look at the photos. The green dotted line indicates the passage to access my apartment.

As you can see, the passage to enter my apartment respects all the necessary privacy.

If it is important for you, do not hesitate to ask me if in the period of your stay, I will reside in Rome.

Rome was amazing; best food, pastries and gelato.

Apartment was as described. Well stocked with what you need for a great time away.

It was spacious and very clean.

Carlos did a great job leaving notes and cards describing how to use appliances and items.

Prior to our stay Carlos gave us a list of restaurants and grocery stores which was beneficial.

Although he lives upstairs, he was never present during our stay although quickly responded to our emails with questions or concerns, we would recommend this property and will come again.

Only suggestion is that extra towels and linens could be provided in the future because although there is a washer clothes have to be dried on the line outside.

Again, small detail, but great time, wonderful and gracious host.

Thank you, Bob and Nancy

Large, sunny apartment close to train station

  • 4 of 5

If you are looking for a large apartment, that lets the sun shine from morning and all day - this is it. I was shocked at the size of the place - it was perfect for cooking in the kitchen or relaxing in the living room (reading a book on the bean bag chairs was heaven!).

The apartment is a perfect size for a couple with kids or for friends or family traveling together. 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds. The bathroom is also exceptionally large - with lots of light and a wonderful tub.

The location to the train station was perfect as we came from Portofino by train, visited Naples by train, and then headed to the airport by train.

The location has some wonderful local restaurants and bars with prices that are easily affordable (no "tourist" pricing in this location).

Carlos was wonderful and very pleasant and friendly.

My only caution is this: do not arrive at night as the apartment can be very hard to find. As well, the graffiti is horrible and the state of the garbage unsettling. I know that a lot of Rome is now like this so it is not a reflection on Carlos or the apartment. It is sad to see and can make some people question the safety of the area - although during the day I had no concerns with safety.

I would recommend this place for your trip to Rome if you are looking for a local area that is not in the tourist zone, but allows you to visit sites.

Great location, had everything we needed

  • 5 of 5

5 travelers

Location: The apartment is outside of the main city area (tourist attractions) but is close enough where all attractions are walkable. We personally appreciated the location of the apartment because it was our little neighborhood to get away from the busy city- close to nice restaurants, coffee shops, and a park.

Apartment: The apartment had everything we needed from dishes, cooking supplies, coffee maker, washing machine, you hang dry your clothes, wifi (only works in the living room/dining room, not the bedrooms). There are no blankets on the beds, maybe this is a Italy thing? I'm not sure.

Carlo does live upstairs however we saw him only twice and you totally forget he's there! He was able to give us some advice when we needed it which was really nice to have that resource.

Overall Carlo's place was perfect for us!

Spacious and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This was a great space for my group of 4 travelers. The kitchen was very well stocked and the washing machine on the balcony came in very handy. WiFi also worked very well. We had some trouble getting the air conditioning to circulate all the way to the bedrooms, but Carlo was nice enough to provide us with a fan which helped tremendously. He was very easy to communicate with, we used WhatsApp, and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Location is great, very close to Termini. You must walk a bit to get to the sites but the walk is enjoyable. Overall, definitely recommend this space and host. Thanks Carlo.

Convenient to be so close to the train station and the metro stop was a short walk away. Great restaurants close by, too. Well stocked and spotless place - everything was as promised and the beds were all very comfortable.

Spacious and clean, love having a dishwasher and washing machine. The beds might need updating now, though.

Owner's Response: The double bed is in memory foam, high-quality, coated with real aloe, has 20 days! Perhaps the lady did not understand the benefits of this mattress! The two singles have one year of age.
